Emerald Bay II - A great, well-maintained home steps from the beach in Surfside Beach. The address of the property is 118B 14th Ave North, a very nice street in Surfside. The house is 4 years old, very clean, with a good-sized pool. We keep it meticulously clean, are continuing to add nice amenities to the house. New for 2009 are TVs in 3 of the 5 bedrooms. We also added a charcoal grill, and a nice table on the 2nd story balcony so you can have a meal outside.
This is one of the few properties in Surfside with 5 bedrooms, so including extended family in your vacation is another plus.
The beach, which is less than 100 yards from the front door is a guarded, public access beach; it is wide and clean, with no high-rises to crowd the beach. North Surfside is nice because it is close to the restaurants in the center of Surfside without the traffic on the streets. Your children can ride their bikes in the street or fish at the nearby lake.
There's plenty to do in the area. Surfside has a nice little downtown, with open-air restaurants, small shops, and a fishing pier. Just a few minutes away in Myrtle Beach is a boardwalk and amusement park, lots of restaurants, and shopping. The location of Surfside Beach is great if golf is part of your vacation. Surfside is about 20 minutes north Pawley's Island, and about 30 minutes south of North Myrtle Beach. There are over 100 golf courses within a 30 minutes drive.
We are able to negotiate several rental plans:
+ a full-service plan: You'll work through a rental agency, and have 100% service on any
questions or issues that might arise.
+ self-service plan: We'll send you the keys, and work directly with you. You will
send us the keys when you depart, and get a deposit return. This service reduces the cost
to you.
+ Cleaning Plans: You can opt for a full-service cleaning service upon checkout for $180, or
a self-service plan. The self-service plan has a $25 charge for inspection, and the
inspector decides if the property passes.
+ Pay By Credit Card, PayPal, or by Certified Check: You have the option to pay on-line with
your credit card or through PayPal. You receive a discount by paying by certified check
vs. credit card because you incur no credit card transaction fees (~$25-$75 additional
charge).
If you enjoy your stay, we will guarantee your rate and the same week next year.
We are also looking to book rentals into 2010, and will offer a discount by maintaining the 2009 rate for anyone reserving dates after 1/1/2010.
