Peace and serenity like this is hard to find these days, especially at such an affordable price (Special introductory rates, starting at $100/night). Very spacious and clean 16 x 80' mobile home tucked in off the road on a quiet 33-acre lake seven miles from Eagle River, WI, surrounded by public land. Wilderness feel, yet close to town. This is a Silent Sports-Enthusiasts dream... Great biking, hiking, wildlife watching, and snowshoeing right out the door. Many miles of cross country ski trails and mountain biking/hiking trails within a short drive. There is a dock for use, where someone could slip their kayak or canoe in the water for a leisurely paddle around the lake. The lake has no public access, so it's unusual to see another boat on it. Sightings of eagles, osprey, loons, beaver, muskrat, otter, great blue herons, belted kingfishers and other songbirds are common. Sleeps 8-10 people.
Eagle River, WI is a popular vacation destination area because of its many lakes and abundance of public forest land. Vilas County has over 1300 lakes for boaters, paddlers and anglers to choose from, and the vacation rental sits within a mile of 10 different lakes, including one with a very nice swim beach. The vacation rental is adjacent to 40 acres of Vilas County Forest land which connects to 40,000 acres of public land just waiting to be explored.

We hiked every day but one which we used to explore by car. Quiet, beautiful color, very nice accommodations. Sandy ready to answer questions and help when needed. Economical, many trails and towns, museum, shops. Cranberry festival and market fun. Looking forward to next year!

My husband and I rented this property because we have our own cabin nearby and couldn't fit our extended family into it for our wedding anniversary weekend.Six of my family members stayed at this rental property and two more pulled their trailer in and parked it in the yard for the weekend. We all had a GREAT time here. The facilities are in excellent condition, we were able to put plenty of food in the fridge and prepare it on the stove, in the microwave, and on the ample countertop space. The drawers in the kitchen were supplied with utensils, which was a big help! Beds were plentiful and comfortable, and the yard is huge! The best part of this property is that it is so quiet and secluded here. The lake is gorgeous, and we had access to it with a canoe. My sister and her daugher, who live in New York City, especially enjoyed the quiet beauty of the location. The location of this rental is also great because there is a great swimming lake, hiking and mountain biking trails all just one mile down the road. And yet you are only about 7 miles from Eagle River, so it is easy to head into town for supplies and other activities as needed. Sandy is a pleasant, helpful person and so easy to plan with. We highly recommend this rental property for anyone!

Our stay at this winter getaway was exactly what my Husband and I were looking for. A cozy place, reasonalbly affordable, and secluded. This fit the bill on all accounts. We took advantage of the nearby ski trails. Every morning we would have our coffee looking out the patio door at the snow covered pine trees, and the snow doing little wind dances out on the lake.
