Two families stayed at your lovely cabin over Easter weekend. We loved your cozy home, comfy beds & great games & videos for the kids. Took our kids (2 & 5 years) to Bear Valley to go tubing for the day. It was snowing at the top of the hill - lots of powder! We made an Easter dinner back at the cabin and even the Easter Bunny paid us a visit - hiding eggs all over the inside. Everyone had a wonderful time. We hope to return in the summer so that we can take advantage of the activities at the nearby lakes - fishing, swimming, etc. No wild animal sightings this visit - maybe next time! Thank you for a beautiful weekend stay.

We very much love this cabin & we look forward to coming every year. Love the new grill & umbrella & refrigerator with ice maker. Love new TV (kids would like more channels but we tell them to enjoy nature instead!).

We stayed at your cabin last summer. We were a large family and had PLENTY of room to accommodate all of us. We especially enjoyed days and evenings out on the deck while the kids played games and watched TV inside. We look forward to coming back!

Great time had in a great cabin. Enjoyed 2 feet of snow on Sunday...then 55 & sunny on Thursday - the best of both worlds. Look forward to staying here this summer.

We had such a great time. This house is so cozy and livable, even for a few days. Tons of snow to enjoy outdoors & from inside, as well. Beds very comfy. Thank you for all of the nice furnishings, dishes, & washer/dryer. Thanks for letting us enjoy this great cabin.

We had the BEST time. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. To get away from the hustle and bustle, if only for two days, was a huge blessing. We are going to put our dates in for the summer now.

Thank you for letting us rent your wonderful cabin. We couldn't have asked for a better location. It was fantastic to be able to sled straight from the front door. We built snowmen on the fire road to cheer up people passing on snow shoes. The kids and dog had endless fun throwing snow balls. Best wishes to you and your family in 2010!

What a lovely area this is to use as a base. The cabin is so attractively and comfortably furnished. It was a pleasure to sit quietly and enjoy the peaceful scenery (& the noisy woodpeckers!). We hiked both the higher & lower Sierras. The South Grove trail (in Calaveras Big Trees State Park) is an extraordinary experience and the views from Wheeler Ridge are breathtaking. Other trails were fun, too. We must have had the best weather of the season! Great vacation!

Thank you for letting us enjoy your wonderful cabin. We came to celebrate our son's 13th birthday and it turned out to be an awesome time. We spent some time at Ironstone Vineyards, ate lunch at the Round Table, & swam at White Pines Lake. Our youngest son is disabled so the swimming was great for him. We ate dinner at the Italiana Cafe where the service was incredible, the food superb and the element was inviting. We felt so welcome & comfortable...The kids tried every board game in the house all weekend. The TV never came on which was very refreshing for me. We sat outside after having banana cream birthday pie...We have our own place in North Lake Tahoe so staying here opened our eyes to a new and beautiful place with so much to do. Our kids loved it. Thank you for making your home so cozy and comfortable.

We're back! We rented your beautiful cabin last July 2008. We were so excited to return. We love it here! We spent our first day fishing at White Pine Lake in Arnold, only caught 10 small fish but delicious...Second day we went to Calaveras Big Trees State Park for a picnic and we did some house hunting after. Thinking of purchasing a second home up here. Third day we went to Lake Alpine. We took our boat out fishing & the kids rented a canoe & paddle boat. Thank you for sharing your cabin.

Dear Cabin Owner, Thank you so much for letting us use & enjoy your beautiful cabin. On our first day we settled in & made use of all of your fun games. Our favorite part is the fire pit outside where we made s'mores...We were able to be blessed and really enjoy the peace and quiet to get away. We did notice the trash can was pretty well destroyed. We were hoping to see the wild animal that made that trash, but no luck! It's probably a good thing as we are all scaredy cats!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin. There were two bears in your neighbor's driveway at 11:00 in the morning. What a surprise! We are a family of four - our two children are high school senior & college sophomore. We just loved it here. The view from your family room & deck is spectacular. We happened to hit a heat wave 113 degrees in the valley...We brought our boat with us - LOVE YOUR DRIVEWAY!...We hope your place is available next time we visit.

This is a wonderful cabin. When we saw the First Nations artwork when previewing cabins from the website we knew we would like it. We were right. We have had a fun three day weekend with LOTS of snow. Hoped we would be snowed in to enjoy another day, but no, must leave shortly. Scrabble ends, movies, good food, & lots of laughs. We look forward to coming back.

This has been our second long weekend stay in your lovely home. It is so beautiful and peaceful here. We settle in and quilt, play games, take turns cooking, watch movies, and take fall walks. Most importantly, we build stronger bonds of friendship and understanding. Thank you for adding the great deck furniture and ironing board. We had hoped to see or hear the coyote family but our only new sound was the pine cones dropping on the roof. Hope to return again.

We had a great time at the cabin. We really enjoyed the whole experience. Our grandparents met us here. We came up from the LA area & they came from Bend, Oregon. We went to several lakes. We visited Moaning Caverns and took the tour at Sutter Mines. We went to Lake Alpine, which was totally gorgeous & the kids jumped in. The cabin was perfect. The grandparents had the bedroom downstairs & we took the upper floor. We barbequed every night. Overall we loved the cabin. It was clean and the view was nice off the deck. We had a bear wake us up one night trying to get into the trash. We loved the rec center and played tennis. The kids took swim lessons. The staff was very friendly. We would definitely come back again.

We were so surprised at such a wonderful cabin. We were here looking for a lot to buy and put in an offer. Next time we will bring our friends. They would love it as much as we did. What a delightful place! Not only was the cabin spotless and charming, but the deck was the perfect spot for our snowman family. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful place. it was a great weekend.

We had a lovely time here. It was very hot, over 100 degrees every day. So, we went to Lake Alpine to cool off & there was still snow on the ground! We were hit with several hail showers. The kids played in the lake & we watched people kayaking & swimming. Lots of families were having picnics. On Saturday night we traveled to Murphys to the Ironstone Winery for the Steve Miller Band concert. It was the first show of their summer tour. It was a wonderful show under the stars. Thank you for the great time. We loved your home.

We picked your cabin for a large family reunion. We really appreciated your well equipped kitchen & large dining table on Christmas Day. The kids loved your amazing video collection and enjoyed playing the games. Hero, the dog, made a new best friend, who came each morning so they could run in circles around the cabin for hours on end. We really wanted a white Christmas and finally it began to snow at 10 p.m. on Christmas night. We loved how your cabin backs right on to the forest so that we could enjoy fragrant walks without having to get in the car. We really appreciated your interesting library.

The patio of the cabin is delightful in the wee hours of the morn. Enough sun to take the chill off with a hot cup of coffee. The peaceful lack of noise with the beautiful nature that surrounds you allows your spirit to unwind. There are truly so many things to do in this lovely area, you can stay as busy as you want to be.
