Why the Owner Chose Williams Bay
Our home is on the lake with a private boat dock and a deck at the water’s edge. Lake Geneva itself is one of the finest clearest deep bodies of waters in all of Wisconsin. It is one and a half hour from Chicago and one hour from Milwaukee. The lake has three vibrant towns; Lake Geneva is the most active with many fine restaurants, casual eateries and excellent shopping; Fontana has a spectacular water front with three great pull up restaurants and bars; and, Williams Bay is a quiet town with bars, fine dining and one of the lake's finest beaches. Our Home is three easy blocks from Williams Bay activity.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Rental boats are available by the 1/2 day to the week. Swimming off the dock or just lounging on a water chair in clear water and sand bottom is a great pastime. The Hammock on the two huge oak trees on the lake side is also a wonderful way to pass the time. Biking and hiking can be gentle or rigorous depending on your route, but the 24 mile path that goes around the lake is most people’s first choice. The home's deck and screened in porch is for the evenings to have refreshments and enjoy family and friends in some ole' fashion conversation or game playing.
