This 3 story contemporary country house is located on a semi-private drive with the most wonderful Catskill views. 1 mile south of the village of Tivoli. 1½ miles north of Bard College. 15 minutes to Rhinebeck.
The house is 2100 sq. feet, beautifully furnished with a large porch and front deck. It features 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 2 half baths, an open kitchen dining area and a large living room. Most rooms are individually air-conditioned.
As one pulls up to the house they can park under a large canopy of shade trees very close to the front two steps leading to the entranceway.
The first floor has a large living room with lots of windows and light. The new kitchen is well appointed with granite countertops and it connects openly to the dining area. The large round dining table comfortably seats six. There are two doors that provides close access to the back covered porch which has a grill and porch furniture for outdoor dining.
The second floor has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom is composed of a queen bed and many windows looking west over the Catskills. It’s attached to a laundry room and closet area. It also attaches to a bathroom with a shower which has a door leading to another bathroom which features a large tub under a bay window with plants. The 2 other bedrooms are average size with a double and a single bed.
Since the house is tallish, the top floor might not be for the squeamish since one may easily feel they are in the clouds. It takes advantage of the best views with a large open loft area. There is a double bed, a TV/living room area and a half-bath.
The house is fully furnished with most everything needed. Cable and hi-speed computer hookup are provided.
Generally pets are not allowed, but may be considered in certain circumstances with restrictions.
