Perfect vacation rental for a couple or small family. A-frame with an all-glass front in the pines, with a filtered view of Mount Tallac and Fallen Leaf Lake. The cabin is located on a half-acre lot with National Forest behind it. There is very little traffic in this tranquil setting. Available on a weekly basis Friday to Friday through the summer. Just five minutes drive to Fallen Leaf Store, Marina and St. Francis Chapel.
Just 15 minutes drive to South Lake Tahoe,the cabin is located near hiking trails, beaches, Camp Richardson, Emerald Bay, Angora Lakes, Desolation Wilderness, Glen Alpine springs, and Mount Tallac. Casinos are about a half hour drive away in Stateline, Nevada.

About the owner: My sister, Karen and I inherited this cute cabin from our Mom. I have been taking care of reservations, and Karen lives nearby, so she manages the cabin itself.
Why the Owner Chose Fallen Leaf:
This is a unique property next to National Forest, so there is plenty of wildness for the nature lover. A couple of older cabins are situated nearby, but one hardly notices them or their occupants. This is a perfect place for peace and quiet.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
This cabin is located near some very beautiful trails near Fallen Leaf Lake and the Angora Lakes, so it is perfect for the avid hiker. There is a nice beach at the end of the lake, where a small store is located. However, guests are just a few minutes away from S. Lake Tahoe.
