This lovely 2,160 square foot, three bedroom, three bath coach home chalet, newly constructed in 2004, features all the desirable vacation conveniences including highspeed internet access.

Upstairs, the large loft with pull-out couch provides a quiet place to read, relax, write, or simply gaze out the window to contemplate a beautiful up-mountain view. The Master Suite has a queen log bed, TV/DVD, enormous closet, and a private bath with double sinks. The upstairs guest bedroom has a queen log bed and a full/single log bunk bed, TV/DVD, spectacular down mountain views, and a private bath. The main floor bedroom has a queen log bed, library, spectacular down mountain view, and a private bath.

The main floor is comfortably laid out with a large kitchen/dining/living room alignment. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary cooking and serving utensils. The dining room can be made to seat 8 and there are four barstools which pull up to an elevated kitchen counter. The living room contains a beautiful, elevated slate fireplace, two great couches and the world’s most comfortable reading chair along with a third TV/DVD. The living room ends with sliding glass doors which open onto a concrete terrace with a private hot tub, gas grill, and spectacular down mountain views. The attached garage contains space for one automobile, ample wood for the fireplace, ski and board storage, and a worktable for tuning ski equipment. The inside of the Home was freshly painted in the fall of 2008.

Located in the Meadow Village of Big Sky, this home is close to everything. The base lodge at Big Sky Ski Resort is a brief 8 minute ride from your home. Newly constructed half pipe, jumps and many pre-fab structures make Big Sky a Mecca for snow boarders. During ski season a free shuttle bus runs prescheduled loops between one block from your home and the base facilities at Big Sky. Bars, restaurants, and grocery are just around the corner and a hiking trail to access the famous; Ousel Falls State Park is literally… just across the street. One of the World’s finest cross-country skiing facilities at Lone Mountain Ranch is two miles from your front door and in summer months, the Arnold Palmer designed Big Sky Golf Course is less than a mile away. The Gallatin, Madison, and Yellowstone rivers make Big Sky THE place to be for the fly-fishing enthusiast seeking world class, blue ribbon fishing. Believe it or not, fly-fishing is a “year-round” endeavor.

The Yellowstone National Park boundary is about 20 miles away and the town of West Yellowstone is about 40 miles south of the entrance to Big Sky. Summer or winter; Yellowstone is a huge hit with both children and adults! Hundreds of miles of unique hiking trails range throughout the entire area both inside and outside the park.

There is simply so much to do and see that it is impossible to cover it all here; however as an interesting update….you may have heard about swinging through the jungles of the South American Rain Forrest….well starting in March of 2009, you can swing above the skiers and hikers of Big Sky’s Lone Mountain!

Michele and I are pleased to assist you with further information and introductions.

Why the Owner Chose Meadow Village

This coach home chalet was a "test" purchase to see if our family could really fall in love with the area: It passed the test! We've had such a great experience that two years ago we also bought 20 acres of raw land just south of Big Sky where we intend to build a second home in the near future. Minnesota is beautiful but Montana is awe inspiring....renewing.

The Unique Benefits at this Chalet

We love the family-oriented environment. Big Sky is NOT Vail...it's a quiet Western town that just happens to be at the base of one of America's largest and most majestic mountains. Fishermen freak out over this country and skiers are elated because there are NO lift lines. We can't decide if we like it best in summer or winter. This country has sooooooooo very much to offer...and unlike Minnesota.....NO Mosquitoes!

Michele and I live in Minnesota, we have three children, and we have vacationed in Big Sky for more than 10 years.

First time to Big Sky- We'll be back!!

Spent a week at this wonderful place- felt like home walking in the door. Everything clean and new/nearly new. The view in the pictures don't do it justice. Perfectly situated to get to big sky lifts (about 10 minutes drive) as well as shopping in big sky. Had minor problem with jacuzzi- fixed the same day. Had six adults and we had plenty of room and would easily accomodate 4-5 more. About 45 minutes to Bozeman as well. Beautiful place to visit and would love to live there!

Great Location, Great Deal, Great Owners

We have stayed 3 times and have a 4th trip planned already. We can't say enough good things about the total experience from start to finish. Online description and photos were accurate. The property is clean, beautifully furnished and well-maintained and the owners have been most helpful in answering questions and concerns. We would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives.

Owner response:Thank you for your gracious comments. Our desire as owners is to use our Big Sky residence as a vehicle that is used to enrich our own family life as well as the family life and friendships of all who decide to rent. Maintaining the property and actively working with our renters to enhance their Big Sky expience is the means to our desired end. The new high speed Internet access in the residence has somehow enhanced our enjoyment of the solitude because we are better able to be connected to our business while enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and change of pace in Big Sky. For the upcoming ski season, we intend to become Gold Members at Moonlight Basin which will allow us to provide access to the wonderful health club, spa, bar, dining facilities, equipment locker, and front door parking amenities of the Moonlight Lodge to all of our guests. Stay tuned.....this is going to be a fantastic new amenity that will kick your vacation satisfaction up to a whole new level!

Nice place!

Guest: Ginny (Wisconsin)
Date of Stay: 01/04/11 Review Submitted: 01/25/11

This condo was every bit as nice as VRBO described it: roomy, comfortable, well-appointed. We had assumed it was not part of a group of condos, but a place by itself. I was personally disappointed with the management company; they were not as on top of things as I would have liked, had the property been mine. The Barnhills were gracious hosts, and we'd love to stay there again.

Six of us (three couples) visited Big Sky this past March for some R&R and a little skiing. If you've never been, you MUST make this destination a priority. WHEN (not if) you go, this home will do more than accomodate. It allowed us to comfortably spend time together in common areas, and provided us privacy when we needed it. We will be back to beautiful Big Sky, and we we come back, we will be staying here again! Thank you!!!

I stayed in this lovely townhouse with 5 of my friends and we found it to be spacious and beautifully appointed. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us to spread out comfortably. We especially enjoyed making meals in the well-equipped kitchen, building fires in the fireplace, and relaxing in the hot tub. The scenery from the townhouse was amazing and it is perfectly located for walks to the town centre or the falls up the road. We were there in late September and enjoyed going to Yellowstone, hiking, horseback riding, and trying out the many good restaurants in the area. We would definitly stay here again!
