Our home is only 5 years old and is bright with comfortable furnishings. We are located in the middle of Bald Head Island on the 4 hole of the 4 1/2 star golf course. All our bedrooms are upstairs and we have a front porch plus two screened back porches, one is off the master bedroom. We have games and books sitting around for your enjoyment.
The beach is only a 2 minute drive in the golf cart away. We are members of the BHI golf club which is available if desired. The garage is detached and has everything you need for the beach or canoeing in the creeks. Bring your own fishing equipment.

Year Purchased: 2003
We love the beach and have always taken our children to the beaches of North Carolina where we live, however, once we visited Bald Head Island, we knew we had found the place for us. It's quiet and the exact opposite of Myrtle Beach. The speed limit is 18 mph and that's just what we needed when we went on vacation. The amenities are there for us if we want to go to the beach or forest but we can just sit back and relax. We hope you'll love it too.
Why the Owner Chose Bald Head Island
This island is the closest tropical location we can get to in a matter of hours. Palm trees grow naturally here and there is a maritime forest with lots of creatures and paths to follow.
The Unique Benefits of this House
No cars are allowed on the island so we drive golf carts and there is a 20 minute ferry ride over from the mainland. It's a real tropical feel right off the coast of NC.
