Why the Owner Chose Loveladies
As kids we came here with our families for the whole summer. It was and still is just a great place to vacation with family and friends - so close to communities near Philadelphia and NYC, but quiet and uncrowded with absolutely beautiful beaches and easy access to Barnegat Bay. We love the beach, the sailing and kayaking, the sunsets, the life outdoors.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our home is family-friendly and very easy to live in. It is open and uncluttered, on a short street with little traffic. You really get the best of everything here. You can walk down the block to the beach, or you can just relax at home in your own perfect spot on the deck by the lagoon. This lagoon is great for swimming and kayaking, the breezes are great for sailing, and the bay up here has great shallows for clamming or crabbing and wetlands for bird watching.
The state park has a walking pier that parallels the inlet, there's a walking path out onto the dunes, and you can walk all the way to the top of the lighthouse for a great view of the inlet and Islan
Fresh seafood right off the boat at Cassidy's; fresh vegetables and cut flowers from family-owned Frank's Produce; seafood takeout at Off the Hook; crafts, craft fairs; fishing and sightseeing boats.
Art classes and exhibitions, films, concerts, lectures; the Foundation hosts visiting artists and speakers from colleges and universities throughout the northeast.
