Cannon Beach Cabin 1/2 Block to Beach/West Presidential Street
Year Purchased: 1993
Why the Owner Chose Cannon Beach
After locating the perfect lot in the much desired "Presidential" Streets of Cannon Beach, we built a house/cabin reminiscent of the old town architecture. Our 1600 square foot Cape Cod style home provides all the comforts of home. Our family and friends have the most fantastic time vacationing at this ever popular vacation destination.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Because the Oregon coast is so scenic, we have enjoyed visiting many of the seaside towns. Over the years we've visited "Shamu", the Killer Whale at the Newport Aquarium, shopped many an antique store, observed Cheese and Ice Cream making at the Tillamook Cheese Factory, Boated/Crabbed at Nehalem Bay , Salmon Fished Buoy 10 out of Astoria and Hiked Neakahne Mountain.
Short walk to shopping, great restaurants, park and live theater in the summer!
Owner's Map of Cannon Beach
We always knew we wanted a second home in Cannon Beach and in 1992 we built our Cannon Beach Cabin. Born and raised on the Washington Coast, our family had years of history vacationing at Cannon Beach, Oregon. My husband's Grandmother resided in Cannon Beach and owned/operated a restaurant in the 50's and 60's called the "Singing Sands". Our entire extended family still enjoys countless hours and days of simple pleasures at the beach!

We met some family for a pre-Thanksgiving stay at the Cannon Beach house and had a fabulous stay. The location was perfect- we could watch the surf from the front porch and easily walk the few blocks into town. The weather was pretty miserable, but we managed to have a great time playing games in the kitchen and watching movies by the fire. The owner left helpful "how things work around here" instructions and suggestions for eating out. I hope we can return to this property sometime soon!

My sisters and I stayed in this lovely beach home for three nights. We loved waking up in the mornings and having our tea and coffee in the bright, cheery dining area. In the evenings after coming back from a long day of sight seeing, we would enjoy the warm and cozy living room. The house has many personal touches, making it feel as if one has lived there a long time. Very comfortable.

A weekend of sunshine! Enjoyed the walks & windy nights. Everyone helped in preparing fondue Sat. night. And of course - a ride to Tillamook for ice cream! We always look forward to our annual trip. Judi & Mike, Teri & Frank, Cheryl and Jerry

Thank you, thank you and thank you! This was my husband and myself first trip to Cannon Beach, OR and we had a great time. The house provided everything that we could ask for - the location is perfect. We had one thing we thought would add a little more to the house and so we are donating a copy of the movie "The Goonies" for fans out there that might visit the house. Thanks again for everything and we hope to be back in 2011. Pete & Katrina

There is a difference between a rental and a home....this is a home! We are returning visitors to CB for the past 30 years. Our kids remember fondly, so much so that our daughter picked this as her wedding venue. Thank you for helping make this all possible. This house was perfect. P.S. you know CB is a special place...the weather fights over it on a regular basis.

We enjoyed a lovely spring weekend. Rain about 50% of the time, but who cares?! We aren't shoveling it! Long beach walks, good meals, lots of napping and quiet conversation, double solitaire and puzzle completion. Thanks for the great time.
