Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2005
The home is owned by two sisters and their spouses. The Gerhardts and Kings live in Macon, Ga. and feel truly lucky to have found this peaceful retreat. We have owned two prior homes in the resort but are so happy to have a home on the lake.
Why the Owner Chose Lake Toxaway
Lake Toxaway has it all! Beautiful woods, lake, mountains! Our home is in a country club resort with golf, tennis, swimming pool and dining. We have beautiful mountain views as well as a gorgeous mountain lake. Hiking trails on site as well as in nearby parks lead to waterfalls.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our home has a stream-fed pond with a huge back porch, rocking chairs and benches to seat a large group while looking out over the lake. We have a newly renovated, very rustic home- cedar paneled walls and large stone fireplace in great room. We have granite in kitchen and baths as well as all new appliances. A basement with 3 twin beds as well as a large screen tv/dvd player is a great area for the kids.
