We bought this property when we were living in Barcelona from 1995 to 1998. It has been fabulous for us because it is very roomy and can accommodate family members and friends and is ideal for vacationing.
Why the Owner Chose Pals
The Costa Brava is one of the most sought after vacation spots for Europeans "in the know." Though it has lush and beautiful countryside, it also has exquisite medieval villages, beautiful beaches, and yet is close to Barcelona and France.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our favorite activities at the house are cycling (there are packed earth paths as well as roads), dining at the nearby restaurants, and, of course going to the beach in the summer. We always spend at least one day in France and one day in Girona. Every year we seem to discover yet another beautiful town or beach. There is so much in this small area called the Empordan, one had never seen it all.
