You are a short walk away from local shops, restaurants, beaches and marinas. A quick drive will bring you to movies, major live entertainment, food stores and retail malls. This house has everything, just bring your bathing suits and sun tan lotion. There were two (2) beach passes as well as two (2) passes to the municipal pool, which we didn't use since the beach was so great. The neighborhood, although centrally located, was extremely quiet. The only voices we hear were those of the friendly neighbors getting together for after dinner drinks. The view of the river was spectacular since the house and dock sits right on it. We looked forward to seeing the chartered fishing boats going out every morning and returning later in the day. The owner, Mr. Feeney, was very helpful pointing out all of his favorite eateries and other local attractions. The place was extremely clean and had all of the little things (and big thing) that make a vacation enjoyable.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My family and I have spent the past month at 30 Poole Ave. Tim, the owner was gracious, full of information and helpful from the very start. The listing description was completely accurate, and the home looked just like the pictures. We were able to walk to the beach, walk into town, and the added bonus was being able to go swimming right from the deck. I would definitely recommend this home, and if we would ever rent a home again, I would certainly consider coming back.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Wow! Loved the house - loved the location! What's more relaxing than lounging on the back deck watching the boats go by? The beach, boardwalk and some really good restaurants and bakeries are within walking distance. You couldn't ask for more from a vacation house. It has everything you need - including an owner who goes out of his way to make everything wonderful. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

Had an absolutely wonderful vacation! Spacious house, great rooms, beautiful views and breezes from everywhere! Both the owner and the house itself could not have been more accommodating! I wish I could have stayed for the entire summer....
