Why the Owner Chose Aspen
I love to ski and I love beauty! It's always been one of my goals to get a slice of heaven in the US west so in March of 2009, after much research, I finally pulled the trigger. I believe ASPEN to be one of, if not the most beautiful Colorado town with incredible character and charm. In addition to their 4 amazing and completely distinct ski mountains, Snowmass, Ajax, Buttermilk and Highlands, the area has tons of other things to do in ALL SEASONS! Being that It's an additional 2 (ish) hours further from Denver then say, Vail for example, it remains more of a community minded destination and one can avoid the the weekend warrior crowds from Denver that exist at other Colorado mountains.
The Unique Benefits of this 3 Bedroom Condo
Well lets see, its charming and not glitzy in any way yet the contemporary interior finishes, done by a top NYC architect, are the absolute finest! I love the easy going un-pretentious nature of the small, 15 unit boutique complex, with it's heated pool, jacuzzi, great staff and location directly on Ajax Mtn. To have this location in a truly smashing 3 bed pad that, for lack of a better word is completely "tricked out" in the finest, minimalistic way, makes the whole package all that much more special to us. (The master bath double shower area has a James Bond-esque, wooden floor that retracts into an awesome Japanese soaking tub!) I think the place is just perfect for my wife and three kids.* (Bedding - 2 king beds upstairs, 1 queen bed downstairs)
