This beautiful custom home is on the beach and bordered on two sides by water, with ocean or river views from every bedroom. Walk for miles in a protected and undeveloped beach/bird sanctuary that begins a few hundred yards from the house. In this natural setting you can see a wide variety of wildlife including sea turtles, dolphins, manatees, and lots of birds, or venture out to Pelican Island National Park a few miles away and be amazed. Adults and big kids enjoy swimming and surfing in the warm water and world class fishing from land or via charter out of Sebastian Inlet. For families with smaller children, enjoy the beach here or head to the cove at Sebastian Inlet where the water is shallow with no waves, kids can play and see small fish and hermit crabs, and go to the snack bar.
The house is furnished with an eclectic mix of antiques and mid-century modern furniture, combined with original artwork collected over many years and creatively presented. Stay connected if you want with broadband wireless internet, fax, land line and premium HDTV, as well as the New York Times delivered daily. Fine linens, towels and soaps make for a resort experience without the crowds, with resort amenities only a few minutes away. Beautiful House in a Great Location and Great Owners

My family - wife a two kids - as well as my parents, stayed at this house over Xmas 2011 and had an incredible time. The house is beautiful - the setting, the design and the decorating of wonderful art. It is a peaceful place - with the nature reserve beach right next door - while at the same time there is just enough to do each day to stay entertained. Fish off the dock, visit Sebastian State Park, go for dinner at the Ocean Grill and stroll the beach for hours. Stewart was great to deal with - both helpful and true to his word. The house was exceptionally clean when we arrived and we had all we needed. We fell in love with Florida and this area.

Our week here was probably the best beach vacation EVER! The beach is incredible - you're right next to a natural area and so you can walk forever feeling like you're practically on your very own beach. And the house!! The pictures don't begin to do it justice. It is filled with art and inspiration - a place that a magazine like 'Architectural Digest' would like do a story on. And it has every comfort of home but with finer sheets and linens. We loved our time here. Thank you so much!!

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful art-filled home. Beautiful quiet beach to walk & shell. Pristinely clean. Everything there you could want or need for a wonderful vacation. Owners are extremely helpful & nice. It is about a 20 minute drive to shopping and restaurants. I hope we can return next year!

Did not stay here, but had wonderful interactions with the owner

Due to some difficulties at home, we did not actually get to stay in this property. But I wanted to post a review because I am so impressed with the owner. He is obviously caring and involved. We had several phone conversations and emails while arranging and then cancelling the trip... I don't think you could ask for a more pleasant interaction, and I think this bodes well for the property and your vacation experience.

The pictures really don't do justice to the gorgeous interior and the peacefulness of this house. The entire experience was so easy and comfortable. My kids, both budding artists, were doing imitations of the art in their sketchbooks and we saw an enormous loggerhead turtle one evening on the beach. We will definitely be back next year if they are still renting.

We started off coming here for polo each year, and then just kept coming at different times because we love it so much. Perfect for unwinding in total comfort, and the owner is wonderful. Highly recommended!
