My fiancee and I had a 2 night stay at the dragon fly cottage and it was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a cottage in AR. The location was great, the cottage was super clean and the owners were real nice in inviting us over to the cottage. This is one of the best deals we could find for the price. We had the opportunity to spend a week at the Dragonfly Cottage (12/26 - 1/1) for Christmas vacation & our 36th anniversary. This is the nicest cottage/cabin that we've ever seen - the kitchen is well appointed and the cottage was very well thought out & arranged. It was very peaceful, we enjoyed the quiet woods & te view of the lake -- six doe came by on our first night. The fresh eggs were a great touch! We recently stayed in this cabin for our 7th Anniversary. We love to go to Eureka, but this time was the best because of the beautiful cottage and the hospitality of Karin. Upon arrival it felt very welcoming and it was beautifully decorated. The drive to town was very scenic as was the amazing view from the back deck. Our first night there we saw a herd of deer wandering through the trees toward the bottom of the hill, it was gorgeous! This is definitely a place that we will stay again when we visit Eureka Springs. My husband & I spent 3 nights at the Dragonfly cottage to celebrate our third anniversary. It was such a beautiful & peaceful area! The cottage was impeccably decorated, very clean & welcoming. It was every bit as relaxing as I hoped it would be! The drive into town was very scenic & I really appreciated having a book of nearby attractions/dining/etc waiting on the coffee table when we arrived. We spent four fabulous nights in this beautiful cottage for our 30th anniversary. We felt as if we were staying in an art gallery! It is beautifully decorated and it was also spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Each afternoon two or three deer came close to the back deck and we enjoyed watching them and we got some great photos. The location is very private and serene but close enough to Eureka Springs to enjoys the shops, restaurants and other activities. We had no problem driving back to the cottage late at night. The owner, Karin, is easy to reach, answers communications promptly and obviously puts her love into this cottage. We appreciated the little touches throughout. Our stay was very nice . My wife and I are repeat travelers to the area. The cabin was one of the nicest we ever stayed at. Its easy to find and close to the town, yet far enough away to give you that tranquility of the woods over-looking the lake! It was more than exspected!Did you find this review helpful? You cant possibly list all the little extra touches Karin and the Dragonfly Cottage offer. My husband and I use VRBO a lot and this cottage rates up in our top two. The price is unbeatable!!! The place is decorated amazingly and the location is outstanding. We woke up to baby deer sleeping in the back every morning. View is spectacular. Karin and her husband went above and beyond as hosts and let us park our Jet Skis at their personal home to accomodate our needs. Oh, also the eggs and jelly were AWESOME!! We will be back!!Owner response: We are so very blessed to have the most wonderful guests who take such loving care of the cottage. Everyone has been very pleased with their stay at The Dragonfly Cottage. Again, we are so blessed. Karin and Jeffery.

What a wonderful way to spend 3 days and nights! The furnishings and decor are beautiful. The view is gorgeous. I loved all the art work in the cottage, especially the owners own pottery. Karin and Jim, My wife, Deborah, and I just spent three special days at your Dragon Fly Cottage on Beaver Lake. The experience was everything we had hoped for and more. The beautifully decorated cottage with the many comfortable amenities help us to relax and unwind. Karin's personal touch from the moment of contact by phone to the last detail of the cottage say "Welcome to your home away from home". We are planning our next trip over sometime in the fall. The Dragonfly Cottage was the perfect spot for a long, summer weekend. Everything in and around the cottage is beautiful - the decor, the scenery, the original art and the setting. We really appreciated the farm fresh eggs, wine, and other goodies left for us. The cottage is clean, quaint and perfect for for a restful retreat. Wow....absolutely stunning view of the lake. The cottage is beautifully decorated and so peaceful! We celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary here and will definitely be going back. We spent four nights at this cottage celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. It is the epitomy of luxury that includes all the comforts of home plus much more. We spent a lot of time on the deck in the mornings and evenings just enjoying the peacefulness. We even had a little brown fox entertain us mornings and evenings. It was a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and we thoroughly enjoyes it. My husband said we were going back next year. The price is more than reasonable compared to the others we researched, and I just found out the owners were adding a hot tub!
