The pictures tell it all. This San Remo condominium was originally purchased as a second home and was recently put on the rental market. It has been professionally decorated and architecturally detailed in a unique manner that provides stunning views from all rooms. As one of the few end units in this complex, it has a large wrap around balcony with multiple seating areas and a large dining table. This unit overlooks the beach and fountain pond inhabited with turtles.
Guests will truly feel relaxed in the king master bedroom with extra large bathroom. The primary guest room is outfitted with TWO queen beds. The bunk bedroom is ideal for children and adults. As an extra bonus, the bar/library room includes a large pull out sofa bed and has its own full bathroom. All bedrooms are equipped with TV/DVD/CD players plus a speaker system that is integrated throughout the unit. CD library included.
The living dining area is wide open and includes a 52” widescreen TV that pivots allowing guests to view from the kitchen or the balcony. Guests will never want to leave!
San Remo is one of the finest complexes on 30-A. Since it is only 4 stories, there is never an overcrowded feeling. It is conveniently located to many unique restaurants and shops (see list below) several of which are in walking distance. Located on the 18+ mile asphalt bike/walking trail it provides unlimited entertainment opportunities for all ages.
Remember, all beaches are not created equal. The San Remo beach area is especially nice, wide, and un-crowded. The combination of convenient beach access and the fountain pond provide a truly unique atmosphere.
When you tire of the beach, the pool and extra large hot tub are a great option. If you don’t arrive in tip top shape, use the fitness room to get ‘beach ready’.

What a beautiful property! Have stayed there twice....once in the spring and once in the fall. The place is very pretty and very comfortable. Great Master bedroom. Great view. Great balcony. We liked being away from all the commercial stuff at Destin, but still close enough to go enjoy it when we wanted to. Always a favorite on our list.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

What a great place to stay!! This was our first time using VRBO and we couldn't be more pleased! Linda was great to work with on reservation, and their home was amazing. We loved the condo!! It was perfect for our family. Plenty of space for us, our 5 year-old and in-laws. The place was super nice and the beds comfy! Having both a pool and being beach front was a treat. The condo unit was very accessable - they had luggage carts so taking all our stuff up to the thrid floor was a breeze. I'd highly recommend staying here!!

My wife and I visited during the last week of April, 2011. It was the perfect week to go --- Spring Break was over and the weather is not too hot, but still warm enough to get in the water. I agree with one of the other reviews (the pictures don't do it justice). I didn't feel like I was staying in a bench rental --- the furniture and decor was much nicer that what we're accustomed to. We loved the large flat screen TV's and the ability to listen to the stereo in every room (loved the owner’s collection of CD’s)! The balcony was great --- huge! It offered great views of the beach/ocean and there was access from three different rooms. The unit has a lot of space and can easily accommodate two couples and perhaps a couple of kids. We considered staying in a one-bedroom, but it was well worth the additional money to get this unit (even though we didn't need the additional bedrooms). The condo (building) overall was very well-maintained. It seems like there was a landscaping crew out just about every day keeping the grounds and pool in pristine shape. The location was the best part --- we aren't fans of the over-building and 40 story condos. We drove down to Destin one afternoon and never went back again (felt like Myrtle Beach in a way). Santa Rosa Beach is very quaint and there are no "chain" restaurants. The beach was not crowded at all. We were able to rent bikes and use those the entire time were there. Linda was very easy to work with --- I even called her while we were down there to extend the trip an additional day and she was happy to accommodate our request. We will definitely stay there again!

We stayed at this condo on our Spring Break...April 16-23, 2011...we had an awesome week of great weather and great times....the condo was so perfect in every way...The views are absolutely wonderful. It is decorated very nice, but not overdone...I recommend this condo for families looking for a great time in a great location...

We have been coming to Santa Rosa beach for years and stay at a different condo each time because there was always something we didn't like the year before. Our search is finally over! This is our go to condo on the beach from now on. From the beautiful large rooms, to the view, to the HUGE balcony, there was nothing missing at this place at all! The pictures don't do it justice. The Highfields were a joy to communicate with! We were a gruop of ten (5 adults and 5 kids) and this condo had more than enough room for everyone. Thank you so so much for sharing it with us and we can't wait to come back!

The best property we've stayed at yet! My wife and I have been married four years now and each anniversary we spend on 30-A. This condo was the best place we've stayed at yet! It was much larger than we needed for two people, but well worth it! From naps in the bunk room, to seclusion on the balcony, to lying in bed watching (and listening) to the ocean! We had to play Marco/Polo just to find each other in the condo! Everything was fantastic and Linda was the best to work with! If you like staying in luxury but also like to lay back and feel relaxed, this is for you! The amazing TV's (especially the one that moves with the touch of a button), cable stations, surround sound, six foot jetted tub, and extremely large (40 foot?) wrap around balcony make this condo heaven on earth for a week! We'll definilty be staying here again...and maybe next time we'll bring some friends or relatives!

What a wonderful experience. This rental property exceeded our expectations in all regards. The location offers excellent ocean views from several rooms. We will definitely attempt to schedule this property in future vacations on the Emerald Coast. Beautifully appointed, we could not have wanted anything different.

This is a wondeful place to get away from it all! It is very well appointed & we felt so welcomed & at home! THE GREAT ESCAPE…. this is how I would describe this beautiful beach side condo.If you want to unwind and relax you need look no more. The tasteful décor and serene atmosphere made for a perfect vacation. Of all the rooms, the master bedroom was my favorite with its simplicity and elegance. It could easily compare to a 5 star hotel. My only regret was not staying longer.The owners, Al and Linda Highfield could not have been more gracious and accommodating.

We loved it. My family and I are Destin veterans and have stayed in numerous different locations in the area including another unit in San Remo over the years for vacations. Your unit was by far the best. We really appreciated all "the extras", the nice furniture, and decor. The master suite was absolutely stunning. There were four adults and three kids staying in the condo, and we still had plenty of room! The list of things we liked was endless, the view, the pool, kicthen, balcony, living room, master suite, numerous bathrooms for kids baths, huge family spaces...Everything was great, 1st rate.
