Open front porch with comfortable seating including two rocking chairs. Beautiful woodsy setting with tall trees on all sides.
Clubhouse with swimming pool. Short walk to Lake Michigan and smooth sandy beach.
Great for Spring, Summer and Fall rentals plus Notre Dame football weekends.
Amtrak to/from New Buffalo (3 miles)and Chicago. Driving distance from downtown Chicago under 75 miles.

I am retired, married, three grown children. Grew up in New York, lived in California and Chicago. Now my wife and I live in Chicago and love being retired. So many things to do that we didn't have a chance to do while we were working.
Why the Owner Chose Union Pier
We bought this place with one of our sons. It is a great place for his family (wife, boy 13, girl 11) to escape the everyday hustle. I join them at the shooting range, biking, swimming and strolling on the beach. Also I go myself to enjoy the solitude of the off season. All three of our children and their families live in the Chicago area so our property is an easy drive.
The Unique Benefits of this House
I have never found the beach crowded. Water is calm thus safe for swimming. Great sandy beach with no steep drop off in the water. Gravel road in front of our house so there is very little traffic. Great for kids playing in the front yard or street and enjoyable to be lazy in a front porch rocking chair. And of course the closed in back porch, near the patio grill, is great for dinner and the evening. Three restaurants within walking distance and many others within a few miles.
