Great Vacation, Loved it!!

We stayed at this fantastic home on July 2nd-9th and it couldn't have been better! The house was beautiful, spotless. The location was great, peaceful, quiet, in the woods, and it was a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, a section of it was private to us. We enjoyed sitting in the screened-out area in the morning and at night as well as the patio. We planned on going to Lucrezia's Cafe, which the owner recommended, but didn't end up going there. Cooking in the kitchen was great. It was a big, open space, right next to the dining room table. The only downfall of the kitchen is that the fridge is really small, so to get your food that doesn't fit in there, you have to walk downstairs to the other fridges. Luckily, there are three big fridges downstairs, so there is more than enough room to fit all your groceries. At first, we thought staying here for a week would be too much, but it was just enough time to fully relax. The owner was very nice and helpful, and was available to easily contact if we needed anything at any time. We enjoyed our stay very much.

A delightful home to escape the busy-ness of life. This home is quiet, restful, large, well-kept and very clean. My husband and I and our 2 pups really enjoyed ourselves here. We've been here twice now...once was not enough. There are many screened-in areas to sit and enjoy the wooded scenery...high on a hill. Or, sit in the open air...on a small porch off the dining room...or on the multi level patios. A short walk to the lake and down the stairs...you're able to walk in the sand and enjoy the crashing waves. The interior of the home, with a fireplace and many, many windows, makes even days spent inside the house enjoyable. We loved sitting in the sitting area of the Master Bedroom, where there is a wall of windows, where we could see deer, squirrels and birds...and just hear the rustle of the trees in the wind. We seldom ate at a restaurant the entire time (both times) we were here! I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen so much!! Our 2 small pups, a Maltese and a Havanese, were a little fearful of the stairs from the foyer up to the living area...but within a day, you'd think they'd lived here forever...they ran up and down the stairs!! They just loved taking walks...sitting by the fire...or on the porch. They were never bored...they had plenty of room to run and play!! The owner was delightful...and very informative. He suggested that we try the Restaurant, Lucrezia's. Knowing it was Italian and my having authentic Italian recipes from my Italian Aunt that I make frequently, I don't usually "do" Italian restaurants. BUT....THIS ONE IS out of this world!! The food and the service is incredible. We actually went there 3 times during one of our visits. And, we bought a gift card, so we can return again and again and again. I just can NOT say enough positive things about the OWNER, the HOUSE and the AREA. We are totally thrilled with it and will be back again. I have recommended this home to friends and family...and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it again. It would make a wonderful home for a Girl's Weekend...a Honeymoon...a Retreat...or your Family Vacation! Come and see for yourself. Enjoy!!! Thanks for every Terry!
