The views and outdoor/indoor ambiance from this mountain top home are breathtaking.
The entire 6100 square foot mountain retreat was designed with comfort, style and modern amenities (we have an elevator that goes to all 3 floors) to keep you comfortable and connected (Wifi throughout), but you will still have that sense of "away from it all" atmosphere. The beautiful wood plank and slate flooring throughout the home feel wonderful to your tootsies. The vaulted wood beamed ceilings and extensive windowing in the back of the home bring in the outdoors. But if outdoors is where you want to be, well we can accommodate that too. Through the French doors off the kitchen is the outdoor dining area or better yet, open the other French doors off the great room to just kick back in one of the lounge chairs to listen to the river down below or to soak up some sun. Want to bring your living room outdoors, no problem we can do that too. Right off the media room is an outdoor living room area that includes a stone gas log fireplace, sofa and a bar table that seats 4. This outdoor living area makes such a grand impression as it lets you breathe in that crisp fresh mountain air all the while experiencing the conveniences and protection of being inside.
A show piece kitchen awaits! With Dacor gas appliances; an oversize refrigerator; soapstone counter tops; serving ware and pots/pans; a pantry with the basic spices and staples for your cooking pleasure. We will happily do your grocery shopping and have it all stocked and ready for your feast! Just ask. Not a chef? No problem - let us cater your stay. Or enjoy one of the local restaurants/pubs around town. Have you heard of the Bucksnort Saloon...bikers, hikers and the stars love this place.
The master suite features a double sided fireplace, 32" flat screen TV/DVR, claw foot bathtub, walk-in oversize stone shower with two shower heads and an outdoor shower. So you say you are one of those individuals that needs a fresh hot cup of Joe first thing in the morning, well the master suite has a coffee bar as well as a refrigerator and ice maker for your comfort and convenience. You will feel pampered and "king" of your castle while staying in this exceptional boudoir.
The other two guest suites are wonderful as well, they are located on the lower level. Both suites features a private bathroom and a beautiful view of the forest out the large windows. These suites can be closed off from the rest of the home.
The walk-out level of the home is not to be forgotten! With a media room that hosts a 120" projection screen TV; 37" flat screen TV behind the bar; pool table; poker table and last but not least a full service wet bar that features beautiful cabinetry, dishwasher, sink, microwave, fridge and glass wear. There is also a refrigerated keg and tap.
All tuckered out because of a big day of hiking, biking or fishing and the trek up the stairs to the main level seem daunting, as mentioned previously, we have an elevator, it services all floors. It is a wonderful convenience for the mobile challenged as well.
Not to forget the little ones, this home also features a large closet full of board games.
