The Best of Both Worlds! A great get-away beach destination located in a cozy island town, only a short drive (ten miles) from historic Charleston. Folly Beach is the closest beach to downtown Charleston.

Folly is a beach town with a laid back island charm. It is known by its residents as the "Edge of America." It is a family beach community with undeveloped parks on either end of the island and a newly enlarged recreational boat landing on the Folly River.

The Charleston Oceanfront Villas are condominiums on Folly Beach, built in 1998, with building renovations in 2008. They are centrally located, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our Non-Smoking, three bedroom, three bath unit has a scenic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Folly Beach fishing pier. It has a king, queen, and two twin beds. It has a beautiful beach cottage decor with quality furnishings. Pets are not allowed. High speed internet with wireless router recently installed.

Charleston/Folly Beach is a great year-round vacation destination. It is truly the best of both worlds. You can relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of the beach, such as nature walking and watching the sunset. Or, just a short drive away, you can enjoy all the history, culture, and fine dining downtown Charleston has to offer.

  • We stayed in this condo the week beginning September 19, 2009. The weather was unseasonably warm and we had sunshine every day....perfect for the beach!! Our niece was getting married on Folly Beach and this was the first time ever me and my 3 sisters have been on a vacation together. The condo was exceptional and well furnished. We loved relaxing by the pool in the afternoon and enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning and the evening soaking up the sights and smells of the beach. The location was perfect...we could walk to all the shops and restaurants and to the south end of the island where we found lots of shells. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone who wants a great beach experience. Thanks, Kim for the hassle-free rental process.

We enjoyed watching the surfers in the morning from the balcony, collecting shells on the beach and made it into Charleston numerous times to enjoy the city.   • PERFECT!!! This condo is beautifully decorated, very spacious and a great location for walking to restaurants and the pier. All the furniture is very comfortable(especially the master bed with great linens). It is very well equipped with everything you need. We were a group of 4 adults and having a TV in all 3 bedrooms was a nice touch. We espcially enjoyed the very large balcony. Kim was professional, prompt and just easy to work with. We will definitely be repeat visitors.

  • We can't say enough about how beautiful this condo is. The decor is wonderful, and all the comforts of home are provided. What a joy it is to sit on the deck in the early morning with a cup of coffee and watch the porpoises playing in the ocean. For folks from Vermont, that is quite a novelty! Kim is a joy to work with, and we are already looking forwarded to returning again.

  • We were only able to stay 2 days at Kim's Folly Beach unit. However, I would certainly recommend it again as it is quite spacious. A beautiful view of the beach and boardwalk from the balcony are certainly a plus. For the 5 of us that stayed, it was quite spacious and clean, as well as very well designed. We completely loved the privacy that each bedroom afforded us.

  • I have traveled a lot and searched for a classy condo....this 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo is directly oceanfront and absolutely has everything to make your stay perfect. The unit is spacious, clean, neat, and beautifully decorated. Kim is a delight to work with and the unit now has wireless internet service too!!!!!!!! Enjoy a piece of peace here!

  • This condo was perfect! 4 adults and 2 kids were very comfortable here. Owners provide every amenity for young children -- bed rails, portable crib, stroller -- even beach toys! Condo is immaculately clean, beautifully and thoughtfully furnished. Kim is delightful to do business with; organized, personable, and prompt. She kept us apprised of the beach renourishment project so there would be no surprises when we arrived. I can't say enough good things -- stay here, you won't regret it!
