While Beachwood Cottages are situated in a secluded setting, away from hustle and bustle of the town, it's 3 miles to the spirited Main St. in Hyannis - home to the Kennedy Museum, numerous restaurants, ice cream parlors, bookshops, boutiques, a carousel, and family amusement centers. Enjoy Thursday night parade or listen to live music in one of the pubs. Take a ferry to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket, catch a whale-watching cruise out of Barnstable Harbor, a deep sea fishing expedition from Hyannis, take a drive along Old King's Highway and do a little antiquing, catch a game of golf at any of the nearby golf courses or just enjoy the sea breeze in the backyard.
