Walk to popular Long Beach (bay beach) to lounge, swim and catch magnificent sunsets at one of the prettiest and most accessible bay beaches in the Hamptons- a key attribute to our location. The bay is perfect for children. The house is very kid friendly and safe as there is no pool on premises to worry about.
This newly-renovated home has a sunny entry room with fireplace, 5 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, big deck and an outdoor private shower. The oversized kitchen opens to a bright and open dining/living room with 3 large sliding glass doors. Everything is immaculate.
The historic whaling village of Sag Harbor offers lovely shops, gourmet restaurants and theatres and is less than two miles away, easily accessible by convenient, safe bike lanes. Long Beach is a quick stroll away and ocean beaches are a ten-minute car ride. The ferry to Shelter Island and the wineries on the North Fork are 5 minutes away. House has everything for the perfect summer vacation. Just bring your swim suit. Ideal for families. No groups please.

We stayed here for a week in August and had a fantastic experience. We were five adults, two children, and a small dog. The two children - 4 and 2 - loved the house. The swings in the back were well used and perfect for letting the grown ups linger over breakfast in the back yard. The house was clean, airy, comfortable, and spacious. The location was super for us as the bay beach - a short walk away - was ideal for the children. There were life guards at the beach and the swimming area was well delineated. The listing description and photos were accurate and Cora was very helpful and available. The house is just a short drive (2 miles perhaps) from Sag Harbor Main Street - so it is close to restaurants and the theater and shops. We also spent time exploring other areas - East Hampton, Atlantic Beach in Amagansett, Montauk. I would recommend lunch in Amagansett in the Square, Atlantic Beach, the beautiful dune preserve in Amagansett, the Bay Street Theater, the lighthouse in Montauk. We would love to come back to tour the wineries. We ate our meals outdoors and felt like it was a proper beach getaway. There is no pool - but for us, this was a plus both for safety considerations and budget reasons. We would recommend this property to friends and relatives who are looking for a low key Hamptons getaway. Great for kids and pets.

This house is spacious and clean as well as close to the bay beach. It was perfect for our large family and we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation there!

I've been renting in Sag Harbor for nearly 10 years with friends and family. This was the best house we've ever rented. The house is updated, comfortable and very clean. It's a short walk to the bay beach and central to everything. I highly recommend this house.

The home was better than as decribed. It is clean and well maintained, very bright and comfortable. It is very close to the beach and a short drive to downtown Sag Harbor. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend the home to friends and family.
