We have the perfect location to relax and enjoy the scenic Maine coast. We are on Sabascodegan Island, but you drive right onto it over a 40ft bridge...you may not even notice it. This is a nicely furnished, ground-floor, studio apartment that overlooks Hopkins Island and Dingley Cove and the picturesque Maine shorelines beyond.
Hopkins View has a large, fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and dining area and a bathroom with a tub and shower. The living room has a couch and a love-seat with views out a picture window. The bedroom which has just three walls (thus we must call this a studio...open on the living room side) has a quality queen-size bed.
We have lovely views of the water from two sides of the apartment. You are just feet from the water and can watch the active lobstering, recreational boating, and coastal wildlife. You have use of a BBQ and a small yard for sitting outside or eating at your picnic table. You'll enjoy lovely sunrises and beautiful evening light. We have the perfect spot to launch your kayak or canoe. A small public boat ramp is nearby. And we have a deep water mooring; ask about it if interested.
Take a walk into Cundy's Harbor. Buy your fresh lobsters at Watson's General Store and have them in a pot in minutes. (You can walk down to the water and choose yours right out of the holding box.) Cundy's Harbor is a gem! A quaint, active fishing harbor with a small summer restaurant on the wharf, a cute gift shop and little general store. You can walk to Cundy's Harbor.
There is an upstairs apartment that sleeps four and a cottage next door that sleeps six... could be a great setup for a couple families wanting to be near... but not too close. This where you'll want to get your lobsters....you can go onto the dock and see them taken out of the holding boxes.
This is where you'll find the Holbrook Restaurant and their Gift Shop, as well as a small seasonal general store with breakfast muffins.
Just after passing the restaurant you take a left turn onto Holbrook Rd.

We found this rental to be in a lovely quiet spot on the Maine coast in a quiet neighborhood. We took many day trips in the area and discovered a part of Maine that we have never visited before. The view from the rental is picturesque Maine with the lobstermen checking their traps right in front of the cottage. We launched our Kayaks off the front lawn and explored the many islands and inlets.The cottage has everything one could need from WiFI to a well equiped kitchen. We thouroughly enjoyed it! Gail
