The suite is a unique experience, tastefully decorated and well stocked with everything you need to rest and relax in style. Relax on the deck with your complimentary Lime Margaritas or under the stars in the private hot tub garden. Massage therapists for each of you can be hired in to pamper you further. Beddis Road is the best road on the island to bike on and it is very scenic as it winds down to one of the best shell beaches on the island. We are centrally located on the island with all ferries only 15 minutes away and the famous Saturday market in downtown Ganges only 10 minutes away by car or 45 minutes by bike. The suite has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with gas fireplace and entertainment centre, pillow top Queen bedroom and private four piece bath with soaker tub. Fridas is a very private romantic location, however pets and children are most welcome. We are all people friendly and will do our best to make your holiday a memorable one.

Well, we don't look like Frida and Diego but this picture is pretty close to Frida and her lover Leon Trotsky. Being artists ourselves, we wanted to celebrate the life and work of an artist in our suite. Frida Kahlo was a perfect choice and with her came the Mexican theme which also makes our suite really fun to stay in. Carl has done all the beautiful cabintry work in the suite and Tracy has made and hand painted all the tiles. We experienced the magic of Salt Spring several years ago and have felt it calling us back since. It gives us great pleasure to share our wonderful island life with guests. Tracy offers family clay making sessions in her studio to give you all a chance to be an artist for a day. Couples really enjoy the opportunity to make something special for their home too. Sun and Moon Clay wall hangings, platters, lanterns, bird houses, bowls, and sculpture can all be made together in the studio. Come to Fridas and be an artist for a day!

We bought our little piece of paradise on Salt Spring Island because the island way of life called to us. It is very relaxing on Salt Spring. After a few days "Island Time" settles in and the love and joy of our small community is reflected back in the smiles you will receive from local people. Nature abounds here with mountains, ocean and forest rhythms calling us to be outdoors.

Salt Spring is abundant with nature swaying, flying and buzzing by everywhere. Eagles, humming birds, ravens and wood peckers can all be seen and heard in our area. Deer stroll across the driveway and munch away on the grass in front of Fridas Villa. At night the frogs sing from the pond and owls hoot. The stars are bright in the sky as there is little light interference. On your way down to the beach we have a community orchard we all share full of Apple, Plum, and Pear Trees.
