Location: Hornby Island, The Islands, British Columbia, Canada (45 minute drive from Nanaimo then 2 short ferry rides)
Accommodations: Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath (Sleeps 7)
Our sunny rancher-style cabin with its ocean view is a half block from the beautiful Sandpiper Beach, where you can wander down and go beachcombing over the stunning sandstone formations, or go for a warm swim when the tide comes in. Barbeque on the large, sunny deck while looking out across the grassy front yard to the ocean. Badminton on the front lawn is supplied as well as a fire pit with benches (fire season permitting), tire swing & playground with slide & swings and lots of videos for the kids.
The cabin is cozy, yet roomy, with a large well-stocked kitchen that over looks the front yard & ocean with a harvest-style dining room table . A newly built bathroom with bathtub & shower, large master bedroom with ocean `peek-a-boo` view from the bed and a half acre for kids to run free around the property.

SUMMER BOOKINGS(June 1st-Sept 30): $1200 CAN per week min (Sat-Sat)
50% deposit required at time of booking (non refundable)
Final payments are due by June 1st for summer bookings
Cleaning & linens are included for all summer rentals, garbage removal NOT incld
WINTER BOOKINGS(Oct 1st-May 31st): $150 p/n w/ 2 night min
Total payments due at time of booking for winter bookings
Credit card is kept on file for damage deposit

Year Purchased: 2002
We work in the film industry and have four children, 2 teenage boys & 2 little girls. Since my husband cannot always be on Island, our cabin has provided me with a safe & fun place to be with my kids, the Island always has so many fun events happening.
Why the Owner Chose Hornby Island
We loved the large, sunny property & ocean view and Hornby has always been our favorite Island out of all the Gulf Islands.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
Looking at the ocean (you never get tired of that!), my kids can run free, everything is close enough to bike to. The Island always has interesting, fun things to do.
