This is my second rental with the proprietor. Both times the rental arrangements, fiances and reimburesements went without a hitch. Both rentals were in the same building. Junot 1 on the 6th floor, and this time Junot 2 on the fifth. The description of this location says renovated this past winter. May need updating, as I'm not sure which winter they refer to. While the place was clean, and appointments were up to date, the paint peeling off the walls in one area of the apartment gave rise to which winter the apartment had received it's extensive updating. Overall a great location, great proprietor and great experience; just a little disappointing after an excellent experience in Junot 1.
Owner response:Hi marc, thanks for the review. You are right: the apt was renewed 2 years ago. We will update. We have seriously been working on the specific 1 m2 location where the paint peeled off. It took few months and 2 repaintings for the experts to find the reason why it kept peeled off on this specific location. It was actually linked to a hidden leak of the other studio above. Once experts conclude, we will repaint hopefully before end of winter. Hopefully this is only in a limited area of the wall. Hope to see you soon again in one of our apts. Jean-Noël

I had a great time staying in this apartment. The location is pretty much perfect. Though Montmartre is literally teeming with tourists and though this apartment is a couple of minutes walk (lovely walk!) to all the things the tourists are gawking at, the neighborhood around the apartment building has a totally local feel without the herd mentality of the "sites". The apartment is great and everything worked splendidly. When there was a problem with the elevator, I called and it was fixed immediately, even though it was a holiday weekend. I can highly recommend "Cafe Qui Parle" down on Caulincourt a few blocks away. Also Cafe Au Reve was very fun, if you can squeeze in. It's hopping all the time. The Lamarck-Caulincourt metro stop is right around the corner and the 12 that stops there is the perfect train to get you to the Seine in a few minutes. Then the rest of the city is at your disposal. Awesome. The check in procedure seems daunting and confusing until you get there, but it's a snap. The only problem I had was understanding just how close the office is and how to get there. Jean-Noel showed me a map and I felt stupid, it was so close. Alright, I can't recommend this place enough.

My husband and I just returned from Paris, and spent 7 nights at this apt. It was terrific. It is exactly as advertised...very clean, in a great neighborhood (very safe), conveniently located to Metro, and the property manager was very helpful. Three items for consideration 1) We did have problems connecting to the internet, but we were able to use the unsecured network available in Paris. 2) bring extra towels, and 3) understand that the pillows are almost non-existent. In spite of these issues, we found the apartment to be an absolutely perfect spot for us to stay for our visit to Paris. The added benefit was that the rental and the return of deposit were handled professionally, and promptly! We have already recommended this apartment to our friends, and we are hopeful that we will return ourselves! It is a wonderful spot for 1-2 people who are looking for an economical, but nice place to stay.
Owner response:Hi Suzette, thanks so much for your review. You should have called about the pillows, we would have solved the issue in the hours. We will check what happened & change them is they are too thin. For info., the standard towels we provide is 1 large and 1 small per person. Realize there is a washing machine in the studio to do the laundry. Renting an apt has some differences with hotels. It is also much cheaper :-) Thanks again for your nice review. JNoel

I have to admit I was generally cautious about securing an apartment for my trip to Paris, as I'd heard many stories of scams and ripoffs. The apartment arrangement was incredibly easy and secure, I felt very comfortable the whole time. The apartment itself was beautiful and in a great location. I will definitely recommend it to friends in the future. Thanks you for making our stay in wonderful Paris even more wonderful!

We had a fantastic time in Paris and were delighted with how well the apartment was set up and it's location. It was great being just a 2 minute walk to the nearest metro station which enabled us to easily get around and see all the sights without any big walks back at the end of the day. It was also fantastic to have a supermarket just across the road, and a good french bakery also very close (maybe not so great for my waistline but that's another matter!).We ended up cooking for ourselves for half the week which saved some money and was a nice change after travelling for 5 weeks and eating out frequently. The bathroom in the apartment was the best we have come across in our travels through Europe and it was great to have a shower with some good water pressure and a bit of room to turn around in (compared to other hotels / apartments which have a 2ft by 2 ft cubicle!). It was also fantastic to have a washing machine which allowed us to catchup on some much needed washing from our previous adventures in Egypt, Greece, and Italy. We found the self check in / check out process very straight forward and easy to follow. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in Paris. Montmartre is a great little area with lots of character. The Junot Apartment gave us the feeling of living like locals while being very close to some of the amazing signts of Paris. If we make it back to Paris in the near future we will definitely contact you to see if the apartment is available again. Thanks for all your help and the prompt replies to all our emails!.

Our review of JunotTwo We stayed in JunotTwo for one week in May 2011. (Our friends also stayed in JunotOne at the same time) The apartment is ideally located in a great area of Monmarte. The apartment was just as descibed in the correspondences and pictures from J Noel. What we liked: - Very clean. - Bed was very comfortable. - Apartment very sound-proof - Water pressure and temperature excellent - Extra large shower - Heated towel bar - Really appreciated the front loading clothes washer - WiFi was super reliable and fast - Secure building - Neigbourhood was quiet and safe - Grocery store and Bakery were within site of our balcony - Some affordable dining choices nearby - Sacre Coeur Basillica a 10 minute walk What you should also know: - There was toilette paper, clothes soap, dish soap, all dishes, bath towels, hand towels, kitchen towel, vaccum cleaner, micro wave, stove, toaster, coffee maker. - The instructions that came with the apartment are super clear - something like a professional apartment manual. - There is no safe, but honestly, with the security of the building and heavy duty lock on the door, we felt like the whole apartment was like a big safe. Conclusion: - We highly reccomend "inbeauparis" for anyone looking for medium term (1 wk or more) accomodation in Paris. - Excellent value and we will recommend to all our friends. Sincerely Ross & Louise Montreal, QC, Canada

Hi Jnoel. Zsa and I want to thank you for your quick response to our email. You've addressed all of our concerns and even brought a knife, spatula and another spoon much faster than I would have thought possible. You are obviously very concerned that the people who rent the apartment from you are satisfied, and I am happy to say we are. Thank you. Steven and Zsa

During this trip to Paris, my wife and I wanted to stay in an apartment in a non touristy area. We looked for a reasonably priced place in Montmartre since that is one of our favorite areas in Paris. We found this apartment and it was advertised as everything we were looking for. The cost was exceptional in our opinion and the location was excellent. We visited several local shops for food, wine, pastries/bread, the post office and restaurants. We were only a 1 minute walk away from the bus stop and less than 5 minutes to the Metro station. Sacre Couer and Place du Tertre were a 5-8 minute walk without making any turns. The apartment is small but contained everything we needed for a week. TV, WiFi, and all the appliances worked well. We too, would have liked the clothes dryer but it did not cause us a problem. The shower was extremely relaxing with plenty of powerful, hot water. The one drawback we found was the key pickup mathod. While efficient since the time of day didn't matter, we arrived at night, and even though the office location is close to the apartment, it can be difficult to find in unfamiliar streets. Be sure to follow the manager's instructions carefully and use something like Google Earth street view to plan the best route between the apartment and the office. All of our communications with the manager were quick and accurate, both before and after our visit. The payments were via PayPal and our deposit was refunded about 3 days after we returned to the US. I would definitley recommend this apartment for a single person or a couple and I highly recommend booking through this property manager. We will do it again on our next visit to Paris.

This studio apartment could not be beat for the price and location. Overall we had a really nice experience. Pros: Spectacular location, close to Sacre Coeur, and 2 metro stations, very safe neighborhood and bldg. It has a little balcony (only a couple feet deep, but enough to stand on) that has a wonderful view down the hill, and we had a nice breeze when we left the door open. Apartment was very clean upon arrival. It is a small studio but very efficient, so even with 2 of us we didn't feel cramped. We even had a friend over for a nightcap and still felt comfortable. The shower is great! Sometimes its the little things that make a big difference, and after walking around all day it was so nice to take a long hot high-pressure shower. The bed was very comfortable. We had 2 previous places (in Holland) where the beds were so hard it made our backs hurt, and we were worried this one would be too, but it was quite nice. The apartment was stocked with almost everything you could need, including soft fluffy bath towels. :) There are all kinds of businesses nearby. We were only there a week and went to several food marts, a wine store, the post office, patisserie, boulangerie, and the pharmacy. It was very convenient! The owners have a very smooth procedure for checking in and out, where you don't even need to be face-to-face with anyone to get/return the keys. This was very convenient because we had to leave the apartment at 5am for our flight back to the US. Cons: I can't remember if there was NO dryer or if the dryer on the combo washer/dryer was broken, but either way there was no way to dry laundry. I was really disappointed about that, because that had been one of the selling points of the place for me. But there was a note left for us about it when we arrived. The walls and ceiling of the apartment are paper thin. This was the only thing that really bothered me. Any time someone upstairs slid a chair across the floor it made a loud grating noise that echoed thru the apartment, and we could clearly hear anyone talking, playing music, or closing doors in the neighboring apartments and the hallway. Aside from the thin walls, we really liked this place. I think most visitors to Paris would appreciate the location, neighborhood, and exceptionally reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and if you are sensitive to noise, just bring some earplugs for when you are reading or sleeping, and you'll be fine.
Owner response:Dryer has been removed to gain some space as it is a small studio. There is a laundry mat 100 meters away or so to dry clothes.

The apartment was exactly as described. It was in a great location near Sacre Coeur and the shops and cafes. Right near a metro stop which was very convenient. The view from the balcony was lovely. My only feedback for improving would be that the shower doors did not close well causing water to drip out on the floor.
