Long-time beach lovers, we were enchanted by the wild dunes surrounding our home. 35' atop one affords inviting views from the many angles and areas of the property inside and out. After 20 years in Cape Cod, we relocated our 2nd home here enjoying warmer climates and the quieter pace. The lure of dear friends close by sealed the deal, after all that's the most important asset one accumulates in their life. Why the Owner Chose Southern Shores
Every step brings the outside in with intriguing scapes not experienced anywhere else. Scott fell in love with the gourmet kitchen (as all of our guests do) and having a hot tub two steps from the living room door makes jumping in a no-brainer! We particularly like the private cul de sac and quiet, yet fun loving, neighborhood. The ability to walk to the beach (several different accesses nearby) is complimented by arriving home to poolside. Lots of good biking trails through maritime forests, along the sound and ocean can't be beat. Did we mention ability to walk to Duck where lots of shops, nature preserve and fine dining can be found.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The master suite offers lots of space, privacy and ability to step into the 2-person (at least) walk in shower or delightful soak in the massive tub. A get away from it all even as we're getting away from it all. Our absolute favorite is popping a bottle of bubbly and enjoying the not-to-be-equaled sunsets while enjoying the extra large top-of-the-line hot tub. Taking part in the free yoga, tai chi and pilates at Duck Town Center is a perfect short bike ride away and next door to Duck Cottage where one gets lost in the fabulous book/paper/coffee shop while connecting with both locals and visitors/fellow browsers. We are especially gratified to read the many wonderful comments our renters provide about the comfort, ease and convenience they found while staying at our home - we wanted to achieve just that ambiance that simply says, welcome to our home.
