Why the Owner Chose Lake Ozark
I am originally from Southern Illinois and came down to the Lake as a child. I aquired the home so that my parents, 4 brothers, 2 nieces, 2 nephews and I all have a place to gather and spend time together as a family. The house is designed to suit everyone's needs.
The Unique Benefits of this House
This home is made up of 3 levels which accommodates our extended family of 12 including my parents, brothers and their wives and my 4 nieces and nephews. There are 4 main bedrooms, three with a king size bed, one with a queen size bed and a kids bedroom with 4 twin beds. You enter the home from the top level and work your way down through the library on the middle level and finally the lower level entertainment room. The private dock is accessed from the lower level balcony by walkway. Each level has an outdoor balcony for access to beautiful lake views. Every room in the house has a view of the lake. We love getting on the wave runners and going to some of the local lunch and breakfast restaurants. Every kind of food is available: from a beach style peel and eat shrimp to a crab leg bar. My home is 5 minutes waverunner ride/boat ride to The Horny Toad, 20 minute drive by car, and everything in between. So easy to maneuver and park. Hop on and go.

My family and I have been coming down to the lake for ten years and we have never seen a homelike this! The minute you drive down the long driveway and see the Estate three stories right on the water, it was breathtaking. Inside, there is an very impressive art collection as the house is furnished with Ralph Lauren Furniture and Persian Rugs throughout. There was a flat screen tv in every room. Also, there is a private dock where we parked our 45 foot boat and we used the owner's two PWC,s. This ia Magnificent !!!! We booked our stay for next year!

The location, layout, and furnishings were fine for our large family gathering of 13; however, the lack of adequeate air conditioning made our stay a disaster. We stayed here in late July 2010 during some of the hottest weather and the AC could not keep up with the upstairs/main level. It stayed 87 degrees almost all day, which made this place an absolute deal breaker. The owner knows the AC in inadequate but doesn't disclose this on the listing. Unless you're staying here during cooler weather, don't bother. You'll be more comfortable sleeping in a tent.

My family rented Beacon Pointe over Memorial Day weekend. Overall the house is nicely appointed, however it lacks a large family gathering area. The biggest problem is the air conditioner. It absolutely cannot keep the house cool. The temperature would get up to 85 - 87 degrees during the day (yes, in the house) which made it almost unbearable.
Owner response:There has now been teo new 3 ton A/C units added to the property allowing itto cool down to 60 Degrees if needed. Management of Lake Oz,INC.

My immediate and extended family stayed in this home the week of 4th of July 2009. It is absolutely beautiful -- both the home and the furnishings. The beds were all very comfortable and the rooms all beautifully appointed. The kitchen was a little small for a home of this size but still functioned well. And the owner is especially nice and easy to communicate with! Great for kids with a lower level full of games and toys! But keep in mind, there is no yard area, as the house is right on the water. We lvoed it and would definitely stay here again!

This home is amazing! My wife and I usually rent a home in Porta Cima but this much nicer than that. Inside the home every detail has been paid attention to.Their are flat screen tvs in every bedroom. The beds are new and very comfortable and large. Every room looks out on the lake. We have recommended twice already to our friends. We will be staying again next year.
