We had a great time during the holidays in this nice apartment with a fireplace and kitchen. Close to skiing and nice to have access to the heated pool and hottub. We all loved it and will go back soon.

My family rented two three bedroom condos at Great Gorge village for a few days this week, and while this one was not our favorite, it was pleasant and close to the many activities we enjoyed in the area and at Mineral Springs resort. I would recommend for short convenience oriented stays but not for a luxury experience.

The kids couldn't stop raving about the water park while us adults went for a romantic horsebike ride. Then we all went to a wonderful (and reasonable) restruant for dinner before a 2 film viewing at the Warrwick Drive in Movie Theater. We are coming back! Great time. Property was beautiful described with great sunsets from the deck. Ellen and family!

A Holiday Nightmare

We rented this property after speaking directly to the owner who asured me the property was very clean and recently renovated. Well that was not the case. We were greeted by mouse droppings in every cabinet and drawer in the kitchen. The kitchen was covered in grease and even the garbage cans were filthy. The condo looked as though somebody moved out 10 minutes before we arrived and was not cleaned. The closets were packed with the owners items and we had no where to store our belongings. The bathrooms were filthy and the master bedroom had a serious mold problem and the ceiling was actually caving in. The smell of mold was disgusting and the house in general smelled. We spent the entire first day trying to make the condo liveable. The condo does not at all resemble the pictures on the web site or the description noted. We did speak to the owner who was non-cooperative and rude. I would never rent this property again. In addition we have pictures to prove it!
Owner response:WOW is all I can say. We have 2 closets of owners stuff that are locked all other closets have stuff for tenats use IE baby swings, board games, add'l sheets and towels. The renters had a friend of theirs that lived nearby call me the 2nd day of their stay and she yelled and screamed at me. I told her if their was an issue to have the renter call me. One day later renter called me and appologized for their friend and said i didn't need to do anything for them. We had tenants stay 3 days before them and professional housekeeping always cleans between tenatnt and owner stays. The tenat before said nothing nor did the tenat after. In fact 2 or 3 tenats around the same time left postive reviews. And all our reviews have been positive to date. And obviously there is no mold or rats lets be serious. We have judging from the tone I think the review was left by the friend not the tenant, but I could be wrong she was mad and angry on the phone. I also personally was overnight in the unit the (Christmas) day before this tenats stay. There is small paint damage to the ceiling in a bedroom that is on maintances list to repair. I'm not saying it is impossible for a spot in the house to be missed by house keeping, But unit is always cleaned and if you have an issue with the cleaning just call me and house keeping will come back and fix any inadaquices. When I spoke to these tenants they didn't want house keeping to come back, hmmm. No mold no rats. I can't believe someone would say such a thing that isn't true. I assure you none of their complaints were or are true. Look at the 6 years of reviews we have before and after these tenants. Thank you for your comments though.

Pros. First of all, most of things were great ! It was resonable price, and the location of condo is very nice (middle of green slope). Condo was clean. Enough beds for everyone (there were 8 of us). Cons. There were only 2 parkings available. Refrigerator did not work well. Condo was kinda old. Overall. It provided enough space for everyone, and we enjoyed staying there ! Thank You.

We stayed at the condo in october 2007. It was closer to my daughters wedding activities. I brought toiletries and towels and cleaning supplies, only to find I didn't need them, it was already there. There is a flight of stairs to get to the condo, but worth it for the view. I like that the 2 bedrooms were downstairs, the young adults claimed that space. We all had a good time. The guards were all very pleasant and helpfull.

Had a blast!!! Just wanted every potential renter to know the honesty with these people, they called me to inform me thier cleaning staff found something of value in the condo after we left.......it didn't belong to us however honesty like that is hard to come buy!

Location, location, location! You can't beat the ski in - ski out feature. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of space and the amenities were more than adequate. We really enjoyed our stay!
