Year Purchased: 2008
My wife Carla, my daughter Anna and I live in Brazil full time, but are originally from the North Iowa area. We come home two to three months a year and stay at the condo.
Why the Owner Chose Clear Lake
My grandparents live just two blocks away, so we love to go for walks along the lake and to their house. Also, we like the location as it's close to the highway providing access to the supermarket, and Mason City shopping. Downtown is an easy drive, but also far enough to be away from the 4th of July racket. We also like the fact that the Harbourage is full of people traveling from somewhere to spend time in Clear Lake.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We remodeled to our tastes in 2009 and fully furnished it with our wedding gifts. The condo is comfy, just the right size to be cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We love to cook when we're there, as the kitchen opens up into the living room.
