We are a group of 7 ladies that have been taking girls trips once a year for the past 18 years. This was the BEST trip, in the best location, and the penthouse is by far the best place we have ever stayed. The penthouse is spectacular! From the views, that are to die for, to the upbeat feel of the penthouse interior, that is awesome, to the rooftop pool, and the owners could not have been more accommodating. We actually cancelled a few events we had scheduled just so we could stay back and enjoy the penthouse. We stayed for a full week and not one of us was ready to go home on our last day. This is truly an amazing apartment. The pictures on the website are great, but they do not do justice to the actual property and views. We would highly recommend this property to anybody that is looking for what we believe is the best property in the city. We will be back and are already checking our calendars for next years return visit.

An absolutely incredible place - privacy, space, views, comfort. 360 degree views of the Mississippi, Jackson Square - truly in the heart of the French Quarter w/ safety a non-issue. Outdoor area amazing - Renewed our wedding vows here, & our guests were in awe of the outside amenities & views as were we. Indoor area - Every modern convenience - very roomy & comfortable - much larger than it appears in photos - very clean & uncluttered. The owner was extremely accommodating in meeting all our wants & needs. He even called to let us know the Penthouse was ready for us early should we want to check in asap. The owner was there if needed, but never interfered - another perfect aspect about the Penthouse. We were four couples. Dividing the cost made the Penthouse pretty much the same price per couple as we'd have had to pay for a single hotel room in the Quarter. Thus affordability was not only a non-issue, but we got a PENTHOUSE w/ 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, w/ kitchen, dining and living rooms, a cabana area, wrap around deck, pool and more all to ourselves. None of the 8 of us had a single complaint during our entire stay. We relaxed, enjoyed & smiled a lot. An elevator quickly takes you to this inviting space. The only information I would add is the spiral staircase going to two of the bedrooms was easy for us to manage though we are all in our mid 60's & some of us had knee issues. However, it is something to consider if one is part of a group where many might have mobility issues.

Owner response: patricia, thank you very much for the great review. your group looked like they were having the time of their lives while you guys were renewing your vows! congrats again! thanks! ps. the loft bedroom is the only one not accessible by elevator

AWESOME!!!!!! Once a year we make a girls trip to warm weather. Well after 14 years of girls get away trips, this was absolutely the best vacation we have ever had. The penthouse blew us away! The only way to describe it is awesome. From the 2nd to none views, to the cabinetry, to the fully stocked frig and pantry (we used the shopping service) and the owner's restaurant and catering suggestions, it was an awesome experience. We even had boiled crawfish delivered and catered. We enjoyed them on the beautiful veranda overlooking the Mississippi River while the cruise ships and paddle wheel boats passed by. All the ladies in our group decided to return to the penthouse and the Big Easy for our next trip. It was unanimous, we will be booking the penthouse again next year! We would highly recommend the penthouse to anyone looking for a great time.

The views and the accomodations were wonderful. The views excelent. Howver the customer service skills of the managers is terrible. First we weren't able to get in until an hour after check in time, there were a few minor maintenance issues like broken windows, broken chairs, fire place didnt work, and one of the bathroom's sprung a leak, leaking into the kitchen below. It was during Mardi Gras but the maintenance didn't come to fix anything until the last day of our stay. We were also told when we got in that us and the managers would be the only ones up on the 6th floor. One night we were intruded on by the entire Harvard school's basketball team. We spoke to Earl and he assured us this wouldn't happen again. Well then on Mardi Gras day, we were napping and a group of the managers son's friends walked in, one of them walking right into our kitchen and opening the fridge. We don't know these people, this was very invasive and a very unsafe situation. Anything could have happened. They appologized but that was all that was offered. Even a small 5-10% discount would have smoothed over the situation and made it seem like they cared at least a little bit that we no longer felt safe while we slept. The fact that we paid alot of money for everything to work, and to feel safe in our own accomadations, and they failed to meet this expectation, I feel we should have been showed more compensation then a simple "I'm Sorry." The views were excelent and the location was great. The beds were spectacular and the shopping service was great. As a manager in the lodging industry, I was more then willing to overlook all the problems we experienced had they shown a little bit of customer service I would have rated this 4 or 5 stars .

Owner response: Renee, sorry your experience was not what you expected. We are not accustomed to having guests with the personality traits your group displayed. But for the record, let’s be honest. The fireplace ignition switch had a dead battery. We had maintenance at your door the morning after being told it was not working. He knocked for 3-5 minutes with no answer. So we immediately sent an e-mail asking when it would be convenient for him to return. We never received a reply but the maintenance man knocked again the next day with no response. The shower that sprung a leak was due to somebody removing a plug at the base of the shower. Both the fireplace and shower were fully functioning in less than 1 minute from the time the maintenance folks were allowed in the unit. Not sure what you meant by the Harvard basketball team, a quick check of their schedule showed they were all in New York playing games. We are sorry you experienced these inconveniences but feel we responded to your needs in a very timely fashion. The event with the owner's son’s friend accidentally walking into the kitchen, was on Mardi Gras day and was a total accident. The well educated, polite, medical doctor who is also an attorney, immediately apologized and immediately walked out of the kitchen (located literally 2 steps inside the penthouse front door) when he realized he was not in the owner’s son’s penthouse. The owner and his son profusely apologized for the “accident”, numerous times. The incident was over with and corrected in the time is takes to say, "Sorry sir, but you must be in the wrong condo." It was simply an accident. You did make it very clear that you were going to write a negative review if we didn’t pay you (what we consider) something along the lines of extortion. To anyone reading this review, please weigh it against the numerous other reviews about the property and the owners.

We brought a group of friends to New Orleans to celebrate a 50th birthday and could not have asked for a more wonderful place to stay. The pictures actually did not do it justice. We took advantage of the shopping service so we arrived to a well stocked fridge...and they got everything perfect down to the specialty brands we asked them to find. The view all the way around was fabulous and we enjoyed the pool every night...and then again while enjoying our morning coffee. This is a perfect location and a wondeful spot!

This was an outstanding place to stay and one of the best vacations ever! We stayed at the Penthouse for 4 nights with a group of eight. This was my first trip to New Orleans and I will definitely be back and plan to stay at the penthouse. The amenities and location can’t be beat; I loved the private pool and the views. The penthouse has multiple separate quarters (We rented the extra room) so you have privacy when you want it. There are great gathering locations all around the building with spectacular views of the French Quarter. We opted to have our refrigerator stocked so we walked right in and started the party!

We just returned from the penthouse and are planning our next trip back already. We go on a trip every August and we will be back here next August without a doubt! We did not know when we booked the penthouse how truly spectacular it was. Yes, we saw the online pictures, but none of them do justice to how cool the place really is. We also didn’t know New Orleans is basically “on sale” in August! Every fine dining restaurant we went to had August specials. And I mean real deals! Our group is a foodie bunch and we love great restaurants. It was such a surprise to find all our favorite restaurants offering such incredible deals. As much as we hated to leave the comfort and ambiance of the penthouse, we did every day and night to savor some of the finest food in the world… and at steal prices! We would recommend the penthouse to anyone looking for an awesome place in the best location in the French Quarter.

As a native of Mobile, AL, I have visited New Orleans countless times, but no stay has ever compared to the Penthouse at Jax Brewery. My family and I are repeat guests at the Penthouse and year after year, we thoroughly enjoy our stay each summer to simply enjoy the sights and spend quality time with each other. There's no better view to watch the 4th of July celebration -- watching the fireworks display from the penthouse terrace has become an annual family tradition for us to enjoy with each other. We also like the ability to cook in the well-appointed kitchen and enjoy meals with each other. Other great pasttimes include spending time in the pool and watching all of the activity in and around the Mississippi River, particularly the cruise ships as they venture out to sea. The accomodations are first-rate and I wouldn't expect anything less than that from the owners who have taken great care to be attentive to every detail. They are extremely friendly, accomodating and responsive to the needs of their guests, before, during and after each stay. The penthouse is contemporary, yet inviting and the location is the best you will find. Its proximity to the Steamboat Natchez is what initially attracted us to the site, but we've also come to appreciate other nearby restaurants, shops and of course, Cafe du Monde, which is merely steps away. Once our stay is over, we settle back into everyday life with memories of our time at the best place to stay in NOLA and wait with anticipation of our next visit to the Penthouse at Jax Brewery.

We are locals and live in Metairie, just 20 minutes from the penthouse. Let me confirm, this penthouse is absolutely the best property with the best views in the entire city. Every year we get 3 or 4 local couples together and rent the penthouse. It’s fabulous and makes for a great vacation right here at home. New Orleans is a great place to be a tourist in your own city. We always take a paddlewheel river boat ride, a mule drawn carriage ride and do the aquarium, and all the great restaurants. The penthouse is located right in the middle of all these things. The downfall of the penthouse is that is it so nice and the cool breeze is always blowing, you never want to leave! We love the rooftop pool with huge outdoor tv. Every evening it’s wine and appetizers by the pool before dinner. I may be cutting off my nose by writing this review because it’s hard enough to find open dates at the penthouse, but the place really is that fantastic, (words of wisdom, BOOK EARLY!)… we are already booked for our week next year! And thanks Michelle for telling us about your secret retreat in the Bahamas. Our group is organizing a trip there now.

Yes, we were spoiled rotten! What a fantastic penthouse! We were in New Orleans for a close family friends wedding. We had read the reviews on the penthouse and had high expectations. Let me tell you, the reviews do not do this place justice. It far exceeded the high expectations we had. The location is the best in the french quarter, right across the street from jackson square and the cathedral. The open floor plan was spacious and airy. Everything was spotless and clean. The views of the rooftops overlooking the Quarter were the spectacular, exceeded only by the views of the river. AMAZING! With 10 in our group we added the optional queen suit, and it was so cool. From the bed you are surrounded by windows at just the right height to soak in all the views of the river and jackson square. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for first class accommodations in the French Quarter. The owners were extremely nice and very helpful. We are already planning our next trip back!

My friends and I stayed at the Penthouse for 4 nights and had an absolute blast! Everything in the description is accurate and so are the pictures. Although, I would say the pictures don't do the place justice. The location is perfect. Also, you really don't need to worry about anything when you arrive, as the place is well equipped to accommodate it's guests. If you need snacks, drinks or anything else, the CVS downstairs is well stocked and there is also a grocery store a short distance away. The owners were also very helpful and accommodating and were willing to help in any way. They went out of their way to make sure we all were having fun and enjoying our stay. My one buddy said it best "If you can't have fun here, you don't know how to have fun." I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. I certainly hope I'll be back sooner than later.

We recently stayed at the penthouse and all I can say is WOW! The place is amazing. Our group consisted of 3 middle age, well traveled, couples from around the country. From the time we walked into the front door, until the day we left, we were totally amazed with the penthouse. And as a side note, the owners, and their sons were very helpful and hospitable. They even showed us how to peel crayfish! We are already planning out next trip back. Hands Down the BEST SPOT in New Orleans!! I recently stayed there with a group of friends and we had an incredible time. BEST Views of the city. Incredible outdoor square footage. Pictures absolutely do not justify the Penthouse at JAX. See highlights below: 1. Listening to Bob Marly at the Rooftop Pool during sunset 2. French Quarter Street Music 3. Views of the City (incredible) 4. Layout - Open and great for parties. 5. Grilled out on the Pool Deck 6. Views of the Mississippi - Loved watching the Steamboats and Cruise ships pass by I have a number of friends that were born and raised in New Orleans. Everyone mentioned this is the best spot they have ever seen!

We just stayed at the Penthouse for 4 nights with a group of seven family members, and 4 nights is definitely not enough time to spend in the Quarter when you stay here!! We didn’t have nearly enough time to enjoy all of the amenities this property has to offer. We have been to New Orleans many times, and this has to be by far the best place to stay in the Quarter! Even though we all saw the website before visiting, the view is absolutely breathtaking as you walk in the door. We were in awe as we were shown around the Penthouse and the beautiful deck and pool area. It’s stunning! The bedrooms are all beautiful, and the beds were very comfortable. We also opted to rent the fifth bedroom, which sits just a few steps away on the owner’s side of the deck, and we were so happy that we did. It’s a very cool room with a sunken bedroom area, great bathroom and wonderful views. The multiple bedrooms offered all of us privacy and a good night’s rest, yet we still had the ability to gather together for fun in the kitchen/living room area and expansive deck area. It was so much better than renting multiple hotel rooms. The jetted pool was larger than what we expected by the pictures. We enjoyed it during the day and well into the evening, and the large screen television in the pool area has great picture quality as you’re floating in the pool in the evening. We felt safe with the secure entrance to the property and had all the privacy we would want, yet knew the owners were close if we had a couple questions. They were very accommodating. Most of us are early risers, but we had such a hard time getting going each day because we were so comfortable just taking in the view! As I told the owner, we would really like to keep this place a secret for ourselves, but we all took business cards when we left (maybe to brag a bit) and would highly recommend the Penthouse to anyone who is looking for luxurious fun in New Orleans! We can’t wait to return…When’s the next flight back?

Owner response: roxanne and brian, thank you for the great review. it's always good to hear how much fun guest have when visiting new orleans and the penthouse. The penthouse was designed to be a fun and inviting place. Your group was a perfect fit! Come back anytime, you guys were great!

Family and friends met in NOLA to celebrate birthdays. The accomodations were superior and the views were impressive. Security was impessive as the penthouse is really in the heart of the French Quarter and on a very busy corner. We utilized all of the entire condo and extra queen room with a total of 10 people. Almost everything you need including basic food items, hard and soft beverages as well as all of the other basics can be acquired just steps from the front door either the CVS or Walgreen pharmacies. Two young children (grand children) had a great time swimming in the pool after busy days visiting parks, zoos, museums etc. Carriages were taken to dinner as well as pedicabs. Some of the group enjoyed visits to the casino and other enjoyed walking the streets of the French Quarter with street musicians, artists and there was not shortage of fortune tellers.. Everybody enjoyed the NOLA restaurants. You can relax and watch the ships on the Mississippi, smell the beginets and watch the sunrise and sunset from a spectatular place. Train and boat whistles and music from calliope add to the charm. We enjoyed a fishing trip nearby in Bartaria and bought back an ice chest full of redfish and drum. We cooked them using the outdoor grill. We did not want to leave.

Do you know what it means to miss New Orleans? Now we do! We stayed at this incredible penthouse in March and had the best time. It was a family trip with my parents who are in great health and in their mid sixties. My husband and I along with my brother and his wife came to town for a mini family reunion. We felt like we hit the jackpot when we arrived and walked into the unit. We used the shopping service that is available to fill our frig and pantry so we would be ready to enjoy the city as soon as we walked in. Once we saw how nice it was, we decided to stay in and have dinner in the penthouse. We had a great time in New Orleans and loved the penthouse. Now we laugh (and cry!) when we think about the song “do you know what it means to miss New Orleans”! We highly recommend this penthouse for a family get together. What a place. This place is off the chart. We visit New Orleans three to four times a year. We usually stay at one of the nice hotels in and around the French Quarter. This place blew us away. The open floor plan with panoramic views. The veranda overlooking the entire Quarter and the Mississippi River are the best. The website did not over sell, this place is awesome. The Penthouse at Jax is a beautiful setting with a fantastic view. Unfortunately it has a few secrets and is not very user friendly. Access is through a restricted key activated elevator and the owners only gave us one key - for seven people. Most often we had to get in through a bedroom door one floor below and climb a narrow spiral staircase to get to the main floor. To do THAT we had to leave the lower level door unlocked all the time, which made us very uncomfortable with construction workers all over every day of our visit. If our friends in that room were sleeping in or went to bed early we had to wake them in order to get into the unit The master bedroom has sliding screens to close it from the living room rather than a door, so it is not possible for someone to be in the kitchen or living room without hearing them clearly from the bedroom (or vice versa). There are also sliding screens from the bedroom to the bathroom which end before the toilet and shower. Anyone using the toilet or shower is in obvious sight (above 3 feet) and sound of other(s) in the bedroom, which made my wife very unhappy. There are no TV's in three of four bedrooms, and since the master bedroom is screened but not separate from the living room it is impossible to sleep while someone is watching TV. The "guest house" holding the 4th bedroom is on the roof and has a glass front door directly in front of the bed that cannot be covered. Because we had construction workers on the side of the building plastering very early every day our friends were awakened looking at eyes looking back at them from over the wall. We were told that we had a private penthouse and balcony, however on the second night of our stay there was a party held by the owners and a large group strangers on our patio, directly outside our unlocked rooms, and in full view through the glass walls. The guests were supposed to stay on one end of the building, but they did not and had to be asked multiple times to leave. This was all the more frustrating because we were told we could not invite guests over even though there is a full banquet kitchen which we never had an opportunity to use. Now it is 18 days after we checked out and I have still not received my deposit from the owners. I have contacted them several times, but it has never been applied to my credit card. I have now been forced to take action through Visa to retrieve my deposit. We would obviously never stay at this location again

Owner response: To anyone reading this review, please read all the other reviews and judge for yourself. This guest was the most miserable person we have ever encountered at the penthouse. The most accurate part of his review is where he says he will never stay here again. That's correct because we would never rent to him again. Regarding the damage deposit, we authorized Paypal to credit his account within 10 days of his departure. He received proof of this from Paypal. The Penthouse is a fun place for fun people, and obviously not a good fit for this guest. If you are reading this review and have questions or want accurate information, please feel free to contact us.

The most pleasant vacation we have ever experienced. The penthouse is drop dead beautiful, with views to die for. When you walk in the front door you immediately see the entire river and skyline because the walls are glass! Everything about this property is great. It’s right in the middle of everything in the French Quarter. The floor plan is open and great for family and friends. We had 4 couples in our group and everybody was thrilled with the place. The owners were extremely nice and gave us good suggestions for restaurants and things to do. Our husbands even made a guided fishing trip and caught their limits! The only regret we have is that it came to an end! We will definitely be back and will definitely recommend the penthouse to all our friends.

We had the pleasure of staying at the penthouse in October 2011 for 5 days. The accommodations are gorgeous and the location is second to none. We spent most of our time enjoying views of the French Quarter from the pool deck and enjoying views of the Mississippi River. Extremely luxurious and would highly recommend it to anyone. Huge kudos to all for a family vacation to remember!

AMAZING!!! that's what comes to mind when we think back on out trip to the penthouse. The online pics look fantastic but in all honesty do not do justice. From the minute we arrived and walked in the front door we were blown away by the full glass walls over looking the Mississippi River. It's like nothing we had ever seen before. The Wow factor is off the chart. The suggestions the owners made were all excellent, from restaurants to the fishing guide. We visited in August and asked about a local fishing trip. Apparently August is a great time to fish in the area we were in (Delacroix Island, about 45 minutes by car from the penthouse). My husband, my son and myself caught a limit of big redfish almost as fast as we could cast our poles in the water! It was so exciting. I would highly recommend this property to anybody. It is located in what may be the best location in the french quarter overlooking the river on one side and the french quarter and jackson square on the other. Truly AMAZING!

We stayed here during May 2011 for the Rotary International Convention. Three couples shared the penthouse and we loved it. The rooms allowed for privacy within the unit and the LARGE roof top patio was perfect for having a glass of wine...or two...or three and watching the riverboats and the ferries. The views are the very best in town. The private pool on the rooftop with a view of the Cathedral spire - priceless. The owners were very helpful and friendly. They celebrated a major anniversary and invited us to enjoy the party! We never needed to leave but the location is perfect! You can catch the trolley, ride in a horse carriage, or just stroll. You don't need a car. I only have two negatives.......1. we had to go home ; 2. we had to go home. It is a once in a lifetime experience in one of the best cities in the world.

We can't say enough about this place...have been recommending it to friends ever since we returned from our vacation. It was the perfect place for all seven of us. Location couldn't be beat...right between the mightly Mississippi River and Jackson Square. Bedrooms and kitchen facilities were incredible, not to mention the spectacular views. This is a definite return spot for us...

Yes, the descripton was on point , and location. But,some of the amenities did not work such as the tv by pool, the bbq grill only one side worked and the tv in the living room kept going out. Property was clean but the master bedroom and bath room had a ant problem to the point the ants was all in the bed, pillows and on night stands they were soo bad we could'nt sleep on master bedroom or keep our luggage on floor they were everywhere. As far as customer service no The owner wife walked around certain areas of property without explaing to us how to work things and left quick so we had to try and figure out things on our own. And when we called several times on outside tv their son tried to help, but honestly we were there for four days and spend close to 4000 he should have came and showed us personally how to work tv. No would'nt recommend customer service was horriable even though place was very nice.

Owner response: Well perhaps the old adage, "you can lead a horse to water" would be an appropriate response to this one. After showing Latasha how to use the outdoor tv, Viking bbq pit, and turn on the tv in the living room numerous times we thought she got it... from her review, maybe the remote was just overwhelming. Apparently the food Latasha left all over the penthouse attracted ants, although none were visible after the cleaning crew left the day they checked out. Perhaps what caused this poor review had more to do with us having to deduct a new bed frame (supports were bent down to the floor), replace a blanket that was stained beyond hope, replace the entire flatware set (because all the forks and some other pieces were missing) from the damage deposit. As a courtesy we contacted Latasha to inquire about the blanket and flatware. Her response was rude, crude, and vulgar. Without going into great detail, Latasha was a far cry from the type guest that normally books the penthouse.

We stayed here w/ 3 other couple and wow were we impressed. The owner & sons were really nice and allowed us to hang out on their side of the patio during the Saints opening day parade this year. The pool is small but great for cooling off on a humid day. Great time. Hope to be back again

This place was amazing! It's in the heart of the French Quarter, walking distance to Convention center, etc. My sorority sisters and I can stop talking about how we didnt want to leave. Its a 3 level penthouse, with a cabana house, rooftop pool, extra entertainment kitchen, out door 50 inch flat screen by the private pool, and views from every angle of the city. The photos do this hot spot no justice. I will never stay anywhere else when I return to NOLA. 5 stars is just what it is and more!

The most amazing place we have ever stayed. As frequent visitors to New Orleans we have stayed in the finest hotels and several other French Quarter condo rentals, but nothing compares to this penthouse. The views are breathtaking. Looking over the French Quarter Terrace reminds you of the rooftops of paris. At night the city skyline is awesome. Both day and night the view overlooking the river is unmatched by anything I have ever seen. The layout of the penthouse is well thought out and very comfortable. The river side walls are all glass so the views are 24 hours a day. We loved watching the ships and paddlewheel river boats pass up and down the river even from inside the condo. The rooftop pool with outdoor flat screen tv was a great way to unwind and cool off after spending the day strolling the French Quarter shops and restaurants. The bedroom I slept in was so comfortable I asked the owner where I could buy a mattress like the one I was sleeping on. This place is truly a jewel in one of our favorite cities in the world. We will definitely stay here again. One suggestion to anybody thinking of staying in this amazing place. BOOK EARLY!!! We tried 3 times to book before we were able to secure a date. Apparently the place stays pretty well booked all year. And one last comment, the owners and their sons were so pleasant they made us feel like family.

After our recent stay at the penthouse all I can say is WOW!!! We saw the pics on the website and thought the place looked great, BUT, when we actually arrived and walked in the front door...WOW! The penthouse exceeded our already high expectations. The open floor plan and glass walls were so inviting and spacious. We stayed for 5 nights and no one in our group wanted to leave. The owners were very accommodating and personable. They gave us some great restaurant suggestions and a list of fun things to do in the city. We cooled off in the rooftop pool almost every evening and into the night. The moon came up right over the river in front of us. The reflection off the water was so beautiful we stayed on the terrace for hours soaking it all in. The only problem we had was getting the dates we wanted as the penthouse stays pretty well booked up. We will stay at the penthouse again for sure.

We stayed at the Penthouse for a ladies getaway, 8 ladies!!! Absolutly wounderful property, location---cant get better, we did not rent a car! Access Decatur St. from your own private elevator, in walking distance to everything, a pharmacy and supermarket were across the street, Burbon Street 2 blocks away. Horse drawn buggies, river boats, street cars, city tours within 1 block! The penthouse says WOW! A fully equiped kitchen, an outside kitchen and entertaining facilities. The interior is as clean and modern as it looks in the photos. The view is unbelievable, the photos cant compare with the real thing, it's a must experience. The property owners were extremely helpful prior to and during our stay and can recommend all the local eateries. Payment was as it states on the website, our deposit was refunded within a week, and the lease was very reasonable. We'll be back again.

What a great place! It was even better than the pictures and convenient to everything. We went for a family vacation (all 8 of us) and had a wonderful time. The pentouse really made the vacation, as there was a hurricane in the gulf and we had rain on and off the whole time. Everyone told us we were staying at the "best place in the French Quarters" and I believe we were! Despite the rain, we got to do everything we had planned and loved New Orleans. One day we all stayed in most of the day due to heavy rains, but the place was big enough and very comfortable and we had a chance to all be together and enjoy each other's company. We especially enjoyed the pool - every night we would all get together when we were in for the night and float in the pool with a drink and watch a little TV - very relaxing! We would love to come back again sometime.

Awesome location! "Best Views in the Entire City" is an understatement! We rented this penthouse with 2 other couples to vacation in New Orleans. We never needed a rental car - as it is within walking distance to everything we wanted to do & see. The French Quarter is literally just steps outside your door. Plus, you feel rather exclusive using your elevator key to access the penthouse (very secure)- where you have a private pool overlooking the Jackson Square area in which to relax. The penthouse itself is very comfortable - each couple had their "own space" with a private bedroom/bathroom; with a beautiful glassed living/kitchen gathering area in which to enjoy the views & make our plans for the day. With so many restaurants nearby, we didn't use the kitchen very much - but it was certainly well-equipped to do so. In addition, there is a complete separate outdoor kitchen area near the pool under the cabana suite. We all had a wonderful week in this awesome location ~ and look forward to returning some time in the future!

I recently stayed at this amazing penthouse. Words alone cannot describe how luxurious this condo is. There were 8 of us and we've never been to New Orleans. This place is right in the middle of the heart of the city. Walking distance from all the places you want to explore. We actually ended up spending more time at the penthouse then in the city! The heated rooftop pool with jets is AMAZING! So is the master bath with the jacuzzi hot tub. Lots of space and amazing views of the river and the entire city. We're definitely coming back just to stay here. A much better deal than any hotel in New Orleans if you have 8 people or 4 couples. I'm glad I found this place online. The owners are really easy to deal with as well. They give you complete privacy but are also easily available. Thank you.

I had a mini-reunion with 6 of my high school friends in New Orleans in October. We chose to splurge a bit on this Penthouse, and it was ABSOLUTELY worth it! Most of us had never been to this wonderful city, and this was the perfect location to take it all in. The penthouse was immaculate, with incredible views - we almost didn't want to leave. But the city was calling us - right outside our door! We had the best time! This Penthouse was perfect for a large group (but I'm sure it would be perfect for a smaller group as well). And the owners were very helpful with advice on the city, and very gracious. Thank you!!

The Penthouse blew us away. The place exceeds the pictures posted on the web site. The views are spectacular. When you walk into the front door of the penthouse you are immediatly blown away by the view thru the glass walls overlooking the Mississippi river. What a spectacular home in a great location. We spent 4 days here and hated to leave. Everything is in easy walking distance. We will definately book the penthouse again on our next visit to New Orleans. And as a side note, the owners provides us with a list of restaurants and things to do that gave us an "insiders" view of the city.

Firstly - I am not accustomed to paying these sorts of rates to stay anywhere, but this penthouse seemed a singular opportunity to assure that our New Orleans visit would be as special as possible for the French exchange student staying with us, as well as actually be thrilling for my children, who have visited New Orleans a number of times. Well, that plan worked perfectly, as this place far exceeded anything we could have expected. The location and views are far better than anyone is going to manage to convey in these guestbook comments, but I will say there are none better to be had in the city! Breathtaking on initial viewing and just keep getting richer and richer as details emerge throughout your stay! The place? The master is huge (walk-in closet / built-ins / etc.), with a perfectly appointed bath (jetted tub / dual shower / steam / etc.)... there is a wonderful glass bedroom that is like a secondary bungalow, separate from the main body of the apartment, with full bath, refrigerator, etc... there is a downstairs bedroom that is a wonderfully quiet escape, again with full bath... there is a completely glass upstairs bedroom that looks out over the river and surrounding area like you were in the crow's nest of a ship! Every room is dressed out with the best of materials and finishes... a joy just to look at and a true honor to live in... Private 6th floor balcony swimming pool, where you look down on Jackson Square while enjoying a swim... or (as we did!), watch a soccer game on the outdoor 60" plasma TV mounted for perfect viewing from the pool! So, I went into this feeling a bit at odds with the costs, but left arranging a return stay! Because, like one of my daughters said, "we have to come back; we haven't done all we need to do here... ...I haven't slept in each of the bedrooms"... we will be returning as often as possible! So, thanks Earl and we will see you again!

living within 1/2 hour of the french quarter,we stayed at this fabulous property as a "guest in our own city"; i can attest to the fact that the 360* views of the city are second to none; the jax brewery is indeed a secure bldg. we felt very safe and our privacy was guaranteed; the location is primo! restaurants, jazz clubs, bars, casinos, river cruises, buggy rides, and more are all within easy reach; literally steps from your door! it was a very luxurious penthouse and i would highly recommend it to anyone who is planning to visit this exciting and entertaining city
