It has 2400 sq. ft. of living space on two floors; two bedrooms on each floor and two double futons in the family room. It has TV and DVD upstairs and down and the internet is free.
Lake Windermere is a scenic mountain retreat with all out doors activities including boating, swimming, hiking, and both snow and water skiing. There are six world class golf courses within a short drive. Wildlife including mountain sheep, deer and elk are commonly seen in the Columbia Valley.

Year Purchased: 1996
My wife and I are professional people from Calgary, Alberta. I am a history professor at the University of Calgary and my wife works for the Separate School Board in Calgary. We love the Windermere area and have built a number of rental cabins over the years. We take great pride in the fact that people return year after year to our units.
Why the Owner Chose Windermere
We enjoy the recreational activities the Windermere Valley offers including snow skiing, water skiing, swimming, hiking and snowmobiling. And we love the peaceful and scenic surroundings.

Thank you - we had great time in your cabin. Nights spent on the patio under the sky covered with stars were very charming... watching the hummingbirds and robins passing by we liked a lot. Beach had everything we needed to feel like on summer vacation, and was peaceful with the beautiful scenery around. This was a great place to relax and get away from busy town - everything so close if you choose to not use your car for the time being.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
