than expected!" We spent a week at this home, and it was absolutely wonderful! We were extremely impressed with the preparation of the home -- especially the cleanliness and how well-stocked it was. And the views from every direction are spectacular! We felt very much at home here, and definitely were not ready to leave when our week was up. It was just a bit far from Yellowstone -- it took us every bit of 40 minutes to get there each time we went into the park. However, most of our time was spent on the northern edges of the park, so it wasn't too bad. The drive through Paradise Valley was beautiful, also!

" Excellent" We had a great stay at Chicory Overlook. The directions were perfect, we went to Yellowstone 3 days, saw bear, elk, big horned sheep, and buffalo. The house was very clean, we had a little problem with the upstairs TV, but were able to watch what we wanted downstairs. The area around the house was great for running and walking, the denim jacket in the closet came in handy for the cool weather early in the week. We would definately recommend this place.

"A nice clean base from which to enjoy our trip" Overall we found our stay at Chicory Overlook to be wonderful. The beds were comfortable, the house nicely furnished and the kitchen was good. The only complaint we had was that the basement space was not very functional with only an outdoor entrance and no bathroom. So the space felt smaller than we had anticipated. It worked well though and I would recommend to any friends using this house or something similar.

My husband and I stayed with our three and a half year old. Everything about staying here was easy and fun. It was nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. Couches were great. The hot tub was great. It was quiet. The home was very clean and had plenty of supplies. We bar-be-qued each night and saw incredible sunsets from the deck. The views were fantastic from every window. I was a bit worried about noise from the highway across the river but it was never a problem. There were spices, olive oil, vinegar and other basic kitchen things to use. This place had everything one could want in a vacation rental. We don't fish, so we I don't know about fishing but it seemed easy enough to walk on down to the river and throw in a line. We check out the river and iot looked like there were fishing spots. The stairs were a bit of a worry with our child but we were able to close his bedroom door and he stayed in his room. I'd definitely stay here again and I'd highly recommend this to anyone. Well done!

We rented this for our honeymoon and were extremely happy with everything from the house to the excellent customer service we received during the rental process. The hot tub was a great feature that we used often. The views from the deck and even the driveway were incredible. The house was fully equipped with every immenity imaginable. The drive to Yellowstone was very easy and not too far. The Yellowstone river had great trout fishing and we even floated down it in a blow up kayak and stopped occasionally to fish. That was fun and relaxing. I would recommend this mountain home to anyone. It is first rate and so is their customer service. Even the neighbors were great, very friendly and helpful! You will not be disappointed with this home. We would definitely stay again if the occasion arose. I cannot say enough how perfect everything was. Thanks for the wonderful memories!

We spent a wonderful week at the Chicory Overlook House in Pray Montana and had an amazing time. This is the first time that we stayed in a vacation rental home instead of a hotel or condo and it was fantastic. The house was right on the Yellowstone River and there were even flies for fly fishing in the kitchen drawer! We spent 2 days sightseeing in Yellowstone Park that was incredible, went on a guided fishing trip on the Boulder River, and fished Nelson's Spring Creek which is only 10 minutes away. The area is a fly fishers dream there are so many famous rivers nearby to fish. The house was immaculate and I can't think of a single thing that we needed or wanted. The service from Montana Vacation Rentals was first class and they really went above and beyond to ensure a great stay. We would absolutely stay there again or at any of their properties with that kind of service.

The Chicory Overlook is EVERYTHING you look for in a vacation home. View, upscale interior and amenities, waterfront...all at a great price. The view is breathtaking as you're surrounded by mountain ranges. The price is right and its perfect for a small family vacation. The location is convenient to Yellowstone and wildlife viewing. Mornings are lovely with the deck overlooking the river....We actually saw pelicans flying overhead! We highly recommend this lovely newer home.
