We rented this condo from 9/2 to 9/10/2011. This is the week including and right after Labor Day. It was a fabulous time to rent as the crowds cleared out on Tuesday and we felt like we had a private pool and beach. We have probably rented at Villamare 10 times but this is the first time in this unit. We would definitely pick this unit again above all the others. The owners have taken very good care of the condo and the updates are very well done. Very pretty and comfortable! Great Place to Rent.....Great time to rent....Thanks Ralph! We loved it.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We were looking for a last minute trip, and Ralph was not only the most responsive person on VRBO that I have ever dealt with, but this Villa was also extremely well appointed and lovely to stay in. We will certainly go back. He made planning the trip so easy, and everything was in order when we got there. The keyless entry into the unit makes going to and from so easy, and the information he provided prior to the trip made it a painless and effortless vacation. Thank you Ralph for being one of the best I have had the pleasure of dealing with on VRBO.

Owner response:My goal in renting is to treat all of my guests just as I would want to be treated if the roles were reversed. I truly understand the sometimes very trying task involved when researching VRBO listings prior to committing. However, the more searching that is done, the better the chance for making an educated decision regarding your vacation destination. Being aware of this, I feel honored when my property has been narrowed down, from the many available. As my previous guests know, I believe that "we're not strangers, just friends who haven't met". Ralph, thanks so much for the use of your lovely villa this February (10. We had a great stay, although a little cool. Tennis, golf, cycling, trips to Savannah and just enjoying good Hilton Head foods were a treat. Not to mention the use of the health club and walk son the beach, always fun..and a great location. We stayed in this villa during spring break and had a great time. The spacious rooms, the decor, the cleaniness and the plantation facilities were absolutely great. We will most likely come back soon.

Our family stayed here in March 2009. Wonderful place. The proximity to the ocean, the pools, and the new health club were so convenient. Ralph gave great attention to detail and made our last minute get-away trouble free. We hope to rent this condo again.

This is one of the nicest and well appointed condos we have stayed in and was equipped with everything we needed. As a real estate agent, I've seen the inside of more homes than you can count! We stayed here for the Georgia Realtors Convention so that we could bring our daughter with us and enjoy a couple of extra days on the beach. This place was immaculate and had everything you could ask for in a home-away-from-home. Super, super clean! Ralph was so nice to work with and genuinely concerned that everything was perfect for our stay. The condo is very spacious, with sunny beach decor - we loved the brand new stainless appliances and silestone countertops! Especially enjoyed the heated indoor pool, sauna and hottub in the new heathclub right outside our doorstep (since it was early February and cool on the beach). Thanks again Ralph for sharing such a great condo for a much-needed break! (And he has the best prices on all of Hilton-Head - believe me, I checked!)

We loved it. Renting from Ralph was simple, easy, not complicated, painless. Ralph was available for any questions before and while we were there. The separate bedroom made it great for us. Our teenage daughter and friend had plenty of "their space" and my wife and I had "our space." Convenient to the beach and very comfortable.

It was great renting from Ralph. Never again will I rent through a rental agency. He made it so easy and even checked to make sure we made it there O.K. The place is beautiful and great for extented families. The separate suite is wonderful for when you need a little space, especially if there are small children in your party. I would definately do it again. Go fot it.

We truly enjoyed our time at Hilton Head in your unit. We thought it was very nice and convenient to everything. Your help getting our stay set up was great. Some of the things we liked so much other than the pretty furnishings were the keyless entry, heated pool so close, efficient dryer, trash chute and how well equipped with dishes and cookware it was. We couldn't get over how quiet the condo was also. Thanks again for taking such good care of us.

Ralph, We had a lovely time at your beautiful villa. There is no place as beautiful as Hilton Head Island. The beach,the gardens, the placement of the shopping areas that do not distract from the beauty of the vegetation is what makes Hilton Head unique. I could not have asked for a more pleasant place to stay. The condo is well-thought out and everything you could need is there. I really loved jumping into the huge bathtub after coming home at night. Palmetto Dunes staff is wonderful and very friendly. Ralph is very concerned about the comfort of his guests and he saw to it that I had a great experience. Hope to do it again next year.

The condo was even better than we hoped. It was evident that the owner spent a great deal of time and effort to make our stay convneient and comfortable. We especially liked the keyless entry because each member of our family could come and go without worrying about keys. The mid-island location made it easy to go anywhere on Hilton Head quickly and we loved how being right on the beach. The owner was a pleasure to work with and we would recommend this condo to our family and friends.
