House and Gazebo - Outer Banks/Corolla Light Resort Vacation Rental Corolla Light Resort-- 2007 Winner of the North Carolina Resort Community of the Year! What are you waiting for? Treat your family to a real "Family Vacation." The Beach, Sandcastles, Activities at the Oceanfront, a true Resort Vacation. Then come home and sit in the Sunken Hot Tub in the Gazebo, or play some pool in the Rec Room. This well equipped home has five bedrooms and three and a half baths. The quiet cul-de-sac location is great for kids who want to ride their bikes, and you can easily watch them from the screened porch. There are eight TV's, two VCR's and one DVD Player. There is also a Playstation 2 for the kids. Don't worry about packing towels and sheets because linens are provided! There are decks off of three bedrooms, with furniture to lounge on. From June 1 through August 29, the USA Today newspaper will be delivered to your door at no cost to you. The screened porch is a wonderful place to have coffee and read the paper in the morning. Take a walk along the sound-front path and enjoy the views, including the Currituck Lighthouse and the restored Whalehead Club built in 1925. Our home is steps from the sound-side pool and Indoor Sports Center, which is open year round. The Sports Center boasts an Olympic size pool (for those rainy days), clay tennis courts, walleyball courts, and a full array of exercise equipment. Corolla Light Resort also has two oceanfront pools (pictured below),a big kiddie pool, an oceanfront restaurant, regular tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, shuffleboard, and a playground area for children. Short trolley ride (the kids will love this!) to the wide and beautiful beaches. Planned activities all week long at the resort--everything from Bingo to Karaoke to Big Daddy Splash (watch your Dad do a belly flop.) Play golf at one of the best courses in North Carolina--the Currituck Club, just ten minutes down the road. Two minute drive to the grocery store and all sorts of restaurants and shops. Also two miles from miniature golf and go-carts--you'll love it! You can go a couple of miles in the other direction and go four wheeling on the beach-pack a picnic and your rods. Come home and watch the sunset from the gazebo. The new Wildlife Education Center is just 7/10 of a mile away and provides something fun and interesting to do on a rainy day. Your vacation is sure to be one you won't forget. No Smoking, No Pets. The quoted rental rates INCLUDE EVERYTHING but sales taxes-- there are no additional costs for linens, cleaning, Corolla Light guest fees, etc.!
