  The house is very nice, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The central location was perfect for our activities while there. Jodi was very accommodating and easy to work with. The view from the patio was most enjoyable. On another note, we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the home, the playground equipment and the spa. Jodi assured me these things would be rectified and I have confidence that she'll take care of them.

  Family of four plus Grandma spent a week in La Jolla. Jodi was really great to deal with and the whole process was easy and she was very professional. The house is great with a ton of character. Kitchen is huge with a gourmet range, oven, fridge etc. 4 large dedicated bed rooms, meant that everyone has lots of space. Location is convenient to La Jolla village and Mission Beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay - thanks..

  I was looking for a place to host a small surprise birthday party for my fiance when I stumbled upon this beautiful treasure. I originally planned to have the party at my home but wasn't sure how I could get him out of the house to keep it a surprise. I thought I would look online "just to see" if maybe I could find a vacation home for the event. When I saw the pictures of this house, immediately it stood out, leaps and bounds from the rest. Elegant, romantic, luxurious.. I couldn't stop thinking about this home, and even though I was looking on short notice and for a very short stay, I thought "what the heck, I'll send an email". As a property manager of a large apt community, I am very aware of what is expected in customer service and rentals. Not only did Jodi get back to me quickly but she was incredibly kind, flexible and professional. She really went the extra mile to help me make my stay a time to remember. The process was easy, organized and Jodi was reliable every step of the way. The house was even more amazing in person too! Not only would I recommend this home and any of her other gorgeous properties, I have been referring my tenants, family and friends ever since! THANK YOU FOR HELPING CREATE A MEMORY THAT IS PRICELESS!

  Once or twice a year 8 of my college girlfriends and I get together for a long weekend of "best friend" time. We have always traveled to the East Coast since that is where we went to school and where most of the girls live. This year the 2 California girls decided it was our turn to travel close to home and we chose La Jolla as our destination. VRBO was our choice to search and so it began. After a few of us were searching for homes, we had several on our list of favorites. We emailed back and forth w/several owners. Then without question, this home and it's owners were our pick. The pictures posted are exactly what the home looks like. And I'm sure this is true for lots of homes. The difference, though, is the family that owns the property. Simply put, the nicest people you can imagine. Before we even arrived, we felt welcome. The owner, Jodi, is the one I spoke to or emailed. She was so nice and so much fun to chat with. Any questions I had prior to our visit, she answered almost immediately. She was so helpful with regards of where to go and what to do.....and how to get there! She recommended "Herringbone" for dinner and now that we have been there, it is a must! Amazing restaurant, food and most of all, their service. All 9 of us agreed we would go back in a minute! Fun! Not sure where our next weekend getaway will be, but La Jolla was just beautiful and we would recommend this home without question.

  My siblings and parents all met up in San Diego for the Farmers Insurance Open and stayed at the house from Friday to Monday. We needed 5 beds and rooms and the house worked out great for us. It was equiped with everything we needed and allowed plenty of space inside and out for us to hang out comfortably. The location is close to downtown La Jolla, Pacific Beach and I5. We plan to come back yearly.

  Our family Thanksgiving in this lovely home was one to remember. We loved the area, as there is so much to do within a few miles! This home was terrific and Jodi was there to answer all questions we had. We would highly recommend this home for a family reunion or gettting together with friends!

  We completely enjoyed our stay here in La Jolla. The owners were very responsive, the property was as advertised. Dinners in the evening on the outside patio with the fountain in the background and the twinkling lighs in the distance were truly memorable. The outdoor fireplace provided the opportunities for many nights of s'mores for our four grandchildren ( and some of the adults, too). The propery location allowed for easy access to the beaches, Sea World and Legoland, etc. We would definitely return.

  We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation rental. It's an amazing property, and was a perfect backdrop for our San Diego holiday. The house is beautiful and we were impressed with the interiors. The house has a distinct Spanish / Mexican style and all the furniture, paintings, and decorations are carfefully chosen to reflect that theme- and the overall effect is extremely impressive. The courtyard with the fountain is an awesome feature and we enjoyed the mornings there watching the hummingbirds fly around. We also enjoyed watchig the lights of San Diego from the hot tub at night. We had a family reunion and there were people from Seattle, San Francisco, St Louis and India and we all had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this place and would love to go back. The only downside was it was tough to connect with Jodi on the phone numbers listed since she was out of the country, but she was usually very responsive on e mail. All in all a wonderful stay!!

  We rented this beautiful house from May 17 to May 21, 2012. This house is just perfect for a family get together. My family had a great time there and the owner, Jodi, has always been available since the quote till the check out and always answered questions quickly.

  My family and I avoid hotels because we find them claustrophobic, but we still enjoy the feeling of luxury. This property is exquisitely furnished and so comfortable, every detail is luxurious. Everything you need for a relaxing stay is included, from wifi, satellite TV and radio, and on and on. The property, inside and out, is so nice you don't want to leave. The views are simply amazing, and sitting by the fountain in the courtyard is a dream. The kitchen is well appointed and we had fun cooking. Having everything on one level made the home feel even bigger, and there were times my four kids seemed to just disappear. We spent time visiting with friends and family, but we were also here to visit San Diego. It was an easy drive to Legoland, and an even easier drive to Sea World. Balboa Park and the zoo, Old Town, and downtown were all very close as well. For the beach, you can be at Mission Beach's Belmont Park, La Jolla's cliffs, or Torrey Pines beach in minutes. Jodi and Corlan were very responsive whenever I had a question and helped make the stay wonderful. Spoil yourself at this beautiful La Jolla property.
