My partner and I had originally considered staying in one of the higher end hotels around the plaza. The Garcia St. casita proved to be a great alternative and much better value. The amenities, privacy, and location surpassed anything a hotel could offer. The owner was also very responsive and super easy to work with. We will return the next time we're in Santa Fe!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Not only is it nice to receive complimentary comments from our guests, it is especially nice when the guests were wonderful to have visit us and stay with us. It's a win-win situation. They are happy and we are happy.

Fabulous rental just off Canyon Road with plenty of space for two people. Great off street parking, fabulous coffee shop and book store two houses away, less than 5 minute walk to Canyon Road, 10 minutes to the Plaza. Inside is perfect with very comfortable sitting area with very nice Tv and fireplace, gourmet kitchen is fully loaded (other than that the sharp knives need replacing, they were really poor and for around hundred dollars they could have a good basic set that works better) with great dishware, wine glasses etc. Bedroom is very comfortable and the bath area is very large and well appointed. We loved our week here, it went by too quickly!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Highly recommend! Location is ideal -- in historic eastside and that means very quiet at night and walking distance to everything! Super comfortable bed, huge bathroom, and the best kitchen we've ever had! The owner was very responsive and had the casita so well stocked it felt like we were in a hotel! And the art was wonderful! We'll be back soon!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.
Owner response: There are 250 restaurants in Santa Fe, but occasionally, we have guest who just want to stay in, relax, and cook a nice meal. We think we've thought of everything you may need to help you with this. We are always pleased when a client is happy with our rental units.

Totally confused by now? Stop looking you have just found the best of Santa Fe. You will experience total luxury and privacy. Convenient walking distance to the Plaza. Did I say this is the best?Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We've visited Santa Fe countless times and have rented casitas/houses the past several years. This is one of the most comfortable, convenient, well-appointed, and beautiful casitas we've rented. Santa Fe offers many choices in holiday accommodations. This condo is one of the best. It is reasonably priced, and wonderful in every aspect. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable & carefree. The condo is immaculate, furnished comfortably, & stocked with all the kitchen equipment you'll ever need. Maid service is available with advanced notice, otherwise you are not bothered. The condo is secluded with total privacy situated behind the owners home. The owners are available should you need them, otherwise they are invisible. The condo has at the door off street parking for 1 car. Adjacent to the condo is another whose owner lives out of state. The neighborhood is attractive, quiet & safe. The location is perfect. Its a 3 minute walk from Canyon Road, and 9 minutes from the Plaza. The condo is suitable for 1-2 adults. The no children policy is appropriate. The no pet policy is understandable, but I confess to missing mine. Whether traveling alone or with someone, this is a great place to stay. My summer 2012 plans include two more stays, and there will be lots more in the future.Two must see galleries on Canyon Road are the Adobe Gallery, and the Michael Smith Gallery. Great place to eat for breakfast, lunch, sandwiches & snacks is the pastry & crepe restaurant in the La Fonda Hotel close to the Plaza. The PERFECT store to buy furs, coats, etc. is Stephen's on the Plaza. The woman who manages the store is knowledgeable & delightful. Its worth going in to the store just to view their offerings.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We had an amazing trip to Santa Fe this past week. The Hacienda was amazing and had all the amenities of a 5 star resort. The condo is outfitted with anything and everything a traveler might need- iron, cooking pans, washer and dryer, and the list goes on.... My husband and I "joked", we could stay there forever. I am used to staying in five star hotels and will admit I was a bit leery about staying in a private condo- but after staying just under a week, I can honestly say this condo's finish out is so much better than any resort!!!! We will be coming back soon!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Absolutely 5 Star, darling. The Hacienda is all it is described to be and more. Luxuriously appointed, clean and scrupulously maintained. Located within walking distance to the galleries, great restaurants and coffee and book shops. The gracious owner/hosts are on site to assist and are very knowledgeable of Santa Fe's history, cultural attractions and fine dining. We have highly recommended the Hacienda to all our friends and relatives.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Wonderful location and the perfect choice. Comfortable, clean, this condo offered everything we needed during our stay. I appreciated the fact that the owner was right next door and when I needed help connecting my computer to the wireless--they were able to help right away. They have thought of everything. Best location and within walking distance of just about everything. We are already planning our next visit and plan to stay with you. My favorite thing was to sit out in private, quiet courtyard and drink my coffee in the morning while watching the hummingbirds! I would recommend this property-check out the video as it is an accurate representation.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This vacation rental is a separate building located on the property shared by the residence of Mr. Anthony, therefore the owner is on-site should guests require assistance of any sort.
