Located just a few miles south of the capital city of Augusta, this 5,543-acre body of water is a natural lake that fishes like a reservoir. Its abundance of cover and structure includes standing timber, submerged islands, stumpfields, rockpiles, creek channels, ledges, vegetation and a variety of shoreline objects.
During its spring, summer, and fall seasons, Cobbosseecontee is home to a combination of comfortable temperatures and a cooperative, mixed bag of largemouth and smallmouth bass.
