VINEYARD ON THE LAKE
Enjoy total privacy on this 10 acre vineyard in the heart of B.C.'s wine country. We are situated on the warmest lake in Canada in South Okanagan's desert country. The property's 500 foot stretch of shallow beach front features a firepit for evening marshmallow roasts, a float to sunbathe or fish on and a buoy to tie your boat to. Stroll through acres of grape vines. You can also pick your own fruit from the peach, apricot, nectarine and cherry trees surrounding the house.
This comfortable, newly painted, air conditioned 3000 square foot 'home away from home' on 2 levels (4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms) has PANORAMIC views of the lake or vineyard. The main floor has a spacious livingroom with fireplace and picture window featuring an expansive view of the lake, fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom and diningroom with sliding glass doors to a large wrap around deck where you can BBQ and watch the sunsets.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, walk-in closet, ensuite bathroom and sliding doors to the waterfront deck. The second bedroom has twin beds. The ground floor has a third bedroom with a queen size bed and a fourth bedroom with twin beds. There is a futon in the livingroom as an extra bed if needed. Lower level has a full bathroom, laundry room, large play room with a fireplace and shuffle board. Satelitte TV, DVD/VCR, Wireless High Speed Internet and CD stereo are available for your comfort and convenience.
This is a truly unique country setting. Suitable for one or two families or for the couple that wants a peaceful get-away. Not suitable for large group gatherings(weddings, family reunions, parties). The vacation home is located on a quiet country road, walking distance from town. It is near excellent restaurants, shops, golf courses and fun activities for children. The Golden Mile award winning wineries are within a 10 minute drive.
Osoyoos is located 5 minutes from the Orville border crossing, 45 minutes from the Penticton Airport and 4.5 hours from Vancouver.

My family and I rented this house on October 7 - 11, 2011 and it was perfect for what we needed! 9 of us slept comfortably and well, the kitchen had everything we needed, we even had 20 people over for Thanksgiving dinner. The weather was fantastic and we used the deck all the time. The view of the lake is absolutely beautiful. Being secluded in the vineyards was divine - and still so close to the town! The owners were great to deal with and answered all questions promptly. The listing is accurate with the amount of bedrooms and spaces. Property was clean - out dated, but a lovely house.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, families with teenagers.
