We are located within a few hundred yards walking distance to beach access points and the amenities of the Bald Head Island Club. Bald Head Island Club Membership - Weeklong reservations in this home come with a temporary membership to the Bald Head Island Club. For shorter stays, temporary membership is available at additonal charge. Membership to the club gives you access to the swimming pool, croquet greenswards, tennis courts, fitness center, volleyball, children's play area, dining room and lounge. Please note our social membership does not allow for golf access.

This place has got to rank as one of my favorites in the world. We've been to this villa several times and I just adore it. Bald Head Island is spectacular and from this villa we get easy access to everything, clean and spacious accommodations, wonderful extras like the bikes, canoe and gear, and lovely setting. So grateful for how well the owners take care of it.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.

Really enjoyed the Villa. Owners were very easy and pleasant to deal with. Will certainly rent from them in the future. Villa was clean and had everything you would need. I am very sorry to be posting this review but my family of 5 had a not so great stay at this Villa. BHI was gorgeous but not the unit. We have three young children and we were hoping to land our feet after our 8 hour day of travel. Upon arrival we got to the Villa to find it had not been cleaned, leftover food was in the refrigerator, and the bathrooms were filthy. We called the owner who kindly called house cleaning. So I had to take my family some where out of the unit while they cleaned. The children were exhausted and the parents were spent. In any case we fell in love with Bald Head Island but we will not rent this unit again. I have learned about other agencies to rent through from locals on the island. My point of this write is to make the owners aware that there house cleaning services team is not so great and the unit needs some TLC. Below is a list of other observations of this unit: -Villa was not cleaned on time -Villa was not cleaned thoroughly and still left dirty after housing supposedly cleaned -Cockroches were found in the Villa -Bathrooms were filthy (especially the bath tub) - When it rained outside water leaked from the ceiling close to the dining room table. (My husband put a trash can in the area to catch the rain water). - The refrigerator and freezer constantly leaked water inside which ruined our salad greens and other perishables -Parking brake on the golf cart barely worked and the golf cart barely had enough power to go from one end of the island to the other (We were constantly charging the battery after each trip)Owner response: The cleaning supervisor took full responsibility for their failure to clean our house properly on this occasion and returned the cleaning fee, which we have sent to the renters. This is a one-time occurrence, in our experience, and we do not expect a repeat. Roaches are a fact of life on Bald Head Island - they are everywhere, even in the cleanest of homes. No measures to eradicate them are more than temporarily effective.

My family had a wonderful time in this villa for my daughters wedding weekend. There were 7 adults and I was amazed at how roomy and comfortable it was. My 4 year old German Shepherd was even able to slip over to the Country Club for the reception which brought a smile to my daughters face..priceless... Am considering returning next April for an anniversary celebration. The owners were very helpful and kind and we look forward to returning...........Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My family immensely enjoyed our stay at your villa over Memorial Day weekend. The view was beautiful and the furnishings comfortable. We had lovely weather, and really enjoyed biking around the island.
