  The pictures do not lie for this property. The location and views are beautiful for this property. Having a nice big yard and a private beach to spend time on was perfect for travelling with a newborn. Unfortunately, once you go inside the house dissapointment sets in. I realize you are paying such a high rate mostly for the prime location, but the accomodations were less than ideal. The beds were all old and very uncomfortable, the appliances in the kitchen, while functional, were not what I'd expect when paying so much. I could go on, but basically this place just needs a major facelift. As for the owners of this rental. They stayed at their rental home the week before we arrived. You would think the place would be in perfect condition when we got there the next week. This was mostly the case, with the exception of them leaving a dishwasher full of dishes (an action that would result in a fine if we were to do the same as per their contract). As for communicating with them - They were friendly and accomodating when we could get a hold of them, but I was frustrated that it was me having to make the effort all the time. You would imagine that as this is a business of sorts, the owners would go out of their way to reply to any concerns promptly. Instead, I had to send an email to obtain the wi-fi password, which I was told would be left on the fridge for me. I received an email asking me to clean the beach front stating "we all do it". I don't know about other travellers, but I don't spend much time raking up weeds on my vacations. Finally, I had to send two emails and leave a voicemail before I got a reply regarding the return of my damage deposit. Again, as per their contract I should received this in no more then 14 days. Instead I waited for 27.

  Owner response: I have replaced the mattresses on 3 beds recently, we have local businesses that take care of our property, as we live in Washington State so we hope, the house is left perfect for our guests. I have spoken to them too. It does have many upgrades, new dishwasher and microwave that are not in the pictures, but the pictures are very accurate, it is a large 4 bedroom house, and it is not a new house, but it's very comfortable, and great value for 2 families or a family with young children . We hope that you come back, as some of our renters do, year after year. We have all our numbers and email addresses on our website, we try to respond as quick as possible. We had some personal problems over the summer, and weren't home much. Customer service is very important. We can always do better. We have been with Vrbo a very long time, and appreciate their service.

  Fabulous place to stay. Would highly recommend it for anyone looking to get away and relax on the beach or in our case a family vacation spot. Very close to town and the house comes with everything you would need for your stay.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing.

  We had a great time staying here, this summer. Perfect for Families. Very Clean, well stocked with all the conviences of home. Would stay here again
