  Stayed here for one week with my signifcant other. We had a great experience, and would definitely stay with Jose again if we were fortunate enough to return to Barcelona. Best things: -Jose is the most helpful apartment owner we have come across - quick reply to emails and accommodating to my many questions pre-booking and during our stay. Felt very safe booking the apartment through him. When we arrived, Jo sewere super helpful with the apartment, as well as information about the city, and important safety/travel information (i.e. we were here on Catalunya day when protests were happening). -Location is fantastic. Safe neighbourhood, easy to navigate (grid system), near from major sites (15-25 min walk to Born, Sagrada, shopping on P. de Gracia, touristy district Las Ramblas). Close to several subway stations (we used Tetuan, Girona several times), which were easy to use. Apartment is third floor. Family style restaurant across the street, bakery half a block away, grocery store 1.5 blocks away. -Apartment itself is as pictured.. Quiet, clean, and very well-maintained; towels and linens all provided. Kitchen stocked with all basics utensils and pots/pans etc. Bed/pillows very comfortable. .   So many good things to say. Jose was more than accommodating, met us for an early check in as our flight came in early morning, helped us with our car, gave us great directions and advice for exploring the city and even helped with our luggage! The apartment is centrally located and convenient to everything, also there is a nice supermarket close by. It was a little tight for our family of four but we have become very close on our trip so we really didn't mind. Kitchen has everything you need, there is good Internet and closet space. We highly recommend! I hate to even say as we had such a great time and really overlooked it, but the apartment could use a thorough cleaning and a little updating. For us it was okay as we were out adventuring most of the time. With this though, I would give it 5 stars.

  I recently stayed at Jose's apartment in Barcelona. We had an excellent stay and there was more than enough room for a group of five to comfortably sleep and hang out. All of the necessities were provided, apartment was clean, and everything was working properly. The apartment had wi-fi that worked well, which we found essential. The location is quiet but close to everything (but beware that everything is closed in the vicinity on Sundays) and the building is secure. Jose made us feel very welcome and even graciously allowed us to stay longer on our departure date since our flight was delayed. A nice place to stay. Recommended.

  The apartment was in a good location, the host was terrific. It was fairly clean, but not terrific. Needed a more complete vacuuming. About 10 minute walk to Gaudi church, 10 minutes to metro, pretty easy. Had everything we needed. Would stay again for sure. Thanks Jose....

  This the second time that my family has rented a unit from Jose. The unit is a perfect location to walk or use public transportation to see Barcelona. We enjoy the residential area and the conveniences nearby. Jose has pride in his property. He has the place clean, neat and tidy for arrival. It is wonderful to have a washing machine available. Like having an elevator when lugging bags to upper floors. .The kitchen has everything you will need for a short stay. The unit is bright, open and very pleasant. Jose also provides cheerful, helpful information for his guests. I have already recommended Jose and his rental apartments to anyone that I know who may be considering a holiday in Barcelona.

  My husband and two adult kids stayed for three nights in this great apartment in Barcelona. Jose met us promptly, helped us with our bags and showed us around the apartment. He gave us alot of information on the surrounding area and places to see and places to avoid at night. The apartment was just as listed. It was very clean and comfortable. Linens and towels were provided. The kitchen was fully equipped, though we did not do any cooking! Jose let us know he was only a phone call away if we needed anything. The apartment is located in a nice quiet residential area. We felt very safe at all hours of the day and night. It was located within walking distance of everything we wanted to see in the city. We would highly recommend this apartment to everyone. Thank you again Jose for all your great hospitality and making our firs visit to Barcelona so much fun. Lorrie, Doug, Jeff and Michelle

  We had a great 3 night stay in this apartment in Barcelona. The apartment was just as listed and very clean and in a safe location. It was within walking distance of eveything we wanted to see. Jose was a wonderful host. He met us promptly at the apartment when we arrived. He helped us with our bags and showed us around the apartment. He gave us some great suggestions on where to eat and what places to avoid at night. He let us know that he was only a phone call way if we needed anything. My husband and I were travelling with our two adult kids. The apartment had plenty of room for the four of us. Linens and towels were provided. The kitchen was well equipped, though we did not do any cooking! The apartment was in a nice quiet residential area and we felt very safe and comfortable there. There are some nice little cafes, coffee shops and a grocery store close by. We had a great time in Barcelona and would highly recommend this apartment to everyone.   This apartment is in a great location and well maintained. It's within walking distance to most of the major tourist attractions, yet in a nice residential area. Jose was great with explaining everything and being there for all your questions and needs during your stay. Would definitely stay again!

  This apartment was an excellent choice for our family of four. We had been travelling for 3 weeks and Barcelona was our final stop before heading home. This apartment was very comfortable and quiet, in a nice residential area, but within walking distance of all the main attractions (La Sagrada Familia, the shops and restaurants of Passeig de Gracia and the Gothic district, the Arc de Triomf, city park and zoo) we wanted to see during our 5-day visit. Jose was incredibly helpful, even searching out train schedules to help us plan day trips. The apartment had a good washing machine, dishwasher , microwave, and air conditioning, making it very convenient. We were very sorry to leave at the end of our stay, but we will definitely be back and would love to stay in this apartment again.

  Nice quiet area, safe and friendly. 24 hr pizza and kebab place right round corner, 5 mins walk from Tetuan metro station. The beaches and Las Ramblas within 25 mins walk, Sagrada Familia 10 mins, small supermarket and bakers across the road, large supermarket round the corner. The owner Jose kindly hung around for us when our flight was delayed - not everyone would do this! The apartment has wifi, which was very useful, and a handy stereo system. Washing machine, dishwasher, air-con, etc all there. The apartment wasn't spotless on this occassion; we've told Jose about this, so I'm sure he'll have a word with his cleaners! :) This was the only fault we could think of - a nice flat in a great location, wonderful city, would highly recommend Jose and his apartment.
