This property is located in Cheboygan, Michigan which is 12 miles east of Mackinaw City, Michigan. Mackinaw City is where you take the ferry to Mackinac Island. Escape from everyting, except comfort!

We have 5 cabins from studio - two bedroom and a full size log house. Our cabins are clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable. This is not your typical "up north" cabin. No expense was trimmed in decorating or furnishing these cabins. Features such as corian countertops, Italian tile, Kohler quite toliets, plush berber carpet, and knotty pine were decided on to make your stay comfortable.

Ten unspoiled acres in beautiful Northern Michigan with 720 feet of Black River frontage gave us plenty of room to situate Sturgeon Bay Resort in perfect harmony with nature, and with the privacy and space you need to get away from it all. Whether you're looking for a romantic get-away or planning a family vacation, we have the accommodations to meet your needs with four log cabins and one beautiful log home.

From our riverfront docks, a short boat ride takes you to Black Lake, one of Michigan's largest all-sport inland lakes, covering 16 square miles. You can jet ski, water ski, tube, swim, boat and fish at the lake. Black river is one of Northern Michigan's best fisheries. Even pre-schoolers can catch bass, perch and sunfish right off our docks. Black Lake is one of Michigan's best all-sports, all-season inland lakes, offering excellent fishing.

All of our rentals are newly remodeled and exquisitely decorated. The woodworker's craft is in evidence everywhere you look, from the knotty pine and log interior to the log furniture.

One bedroom has a queen-size bed, the other bedroom has both a twin size bed and a full size bed. This cabin can sleep five.

Our location is ideal for "home base" for several day trips across northern lower Michigan and the Upper Penisula. A day trip to Mackinac Island is a must if you have never visited the Island before. Of course, you can relax and stay right here or enjoy a boat ride, swim or fish. In the summer, the days are warm, the evenings cool and the days can be filled with as much or little activity as you desire.

In the Bath we provide: Wash cloths, hand towels, bath towels, bath mats, Hand Soap, Toliet Paper. In the Bedrooms we provide: Pillows, Pillow cases, Sheets, Blankets, Comforters.
