  My wife and I had a wonderful time at your condo. It was nicely furnished, clean, and very close to the beach. The grounds are nicely maintained and it is located within easy walking distance of some good restaurants. All of the above at a very reasonable price. Keep up the great work! Place like you're make us love VRBO. Thanks for the memories!

  This was our first time at this complex and the ground floor location was perfect for our stay. Both the BBQs were in new condition and this location made access easy. The afternoon sun on the Lanai could be avoided by going to the pool. We thought it was great value and we like the Charlie Young beach area anyway. Every thing in the write up was true Bill and Pquline Squamish B C

  This property exceeded our expectations. The moment we walked in we said wow! The condo was well appointed, clean and bright. It has al amenities you could ever need. A plus is that Maui Vista I's across from the beach. This is a ground floor unit. Loved the experience.

  Thank you Greg & Janet! You have made our family reunion the best we ever could imagine. When we arrived, we found the unit clean and well supplied. The bathroom is gorgeous! The bed was sooooo comfy. I was dreading leaving our "Temperpedic" at home, but found this bed just as comfortable! We have family on the island and the rest of our family came from the mainland for this memorable reunion and we loved meeting for nightly sunsets at our favorite beach right across the street at Charley Young's. Kayaking in the mornings were the best too! This condo is the best location of all the units, since it is in the first building (so closest to beach) and near the pool for the kids to play when we were worn out from the beach! The kitchen had all we needed for our family bbq's, patio was much nicer than any upstairs unit as it is a lot bigger, plenty of linens, nice flat screened TV and DVD player too! Washer/Dryer in the unit saved time going to a "laundrymat" which we would hate to do on vacation. Greg & Janet are local owners that were so helpful with any questions we had and suggestions to make this reunion so memorable. Suggest Charley Young Beach, Kam I, KamII for calm waters for the kids. It was awesome! Lots of turtle sightings. We have stayed in Maui many times and this condo was the best at such a reasonable price. Also suggest a fantastic church that is in Kihei, call "Hope Chapel". A non-denominational church, that is friendly and also has a great bookstore. Love Kihei Cafe for breakfast (just down the road) and Stella Blues for dinner, fantastic fish and steak(ask for the patio area). We were here at Maui Vista with all of our 6 grandkids. (separate units) and we had the best one! Almost forgot to mention the wireless connection to the internet that was also "secured". Much appreciated. Thank you Greg & Janet for a wonderful place to celebrate being with our family that is scattered about the mainland! I think it is unanimous that we all want to come back as soon as we are able to! But we got first dibs on your condo. God Bless!

  First of all, the pictures are misleading. The place was even better in real! Location of the condo was really good, only 30 second walk over the road and you are at a beautiful beach. Directions were easy to follow. Property was clean, and also on the bonus side, it really had all the things you need to have vacation in Maui - snorkel gears, beach towels, washing machine and dryer etc. Also, in the fridge there are plenty of "left overs" from previous visitors, which is really good, as we were only staying for 3 days, and it would've been pointless for us to buy cooking oil or ketchup. So thats good, only keep in mind to check the exp dates of these products, just in case. There was only one little thing that kind of annoyed us. Well, actually my GF, as I didnt see these little buggers. I'm talking about two little "cucarachas" she saw in the bathroom behind the toilet. But as we are from Eastern Europe, we have seen all kind of creatures, and that didnt really bothered us that much, haha =) But there was actually one big issue with our stay at this place - it was too short! 3 days to discover Maui and enjoy all the good things this condo has to offer is just not enough. The location regarding the beach was already mentioned, but overall the Kihei area was as well, really good! I would recommend that place for sure, especially with that price! Well worth it!

  Ours was a last minute booking, and we're glad we were able to stay at Greg's unit. This unit has been well-taken cared of and it shows! It is very homey and convenient, and made us feel very at home -- so at home that the hubby and I treated the unit like it was ours. Much love in this place :-) We appreciate how much thought was put in this place. The kitchen was more than we could ask for. From pans that we used for cooking marinated Korean short ribs from Takamiya Market, to the new set of knives we used for cutting up fresh papayas, lilikoi, and other produce from the nearby Farmer's Market, to the coffee machine we used to brew tea for breakfast -- it was just so convenient! Also, Greg, thanks so much for the fully functioning microwave (the unit we stayed at after yours had a broken one.) Much lau lau, roasted pork and cabbage, and ono grinds from TJ's Warehouse were heated up in it. A boogie board was provided, so were beach towels, mats, a cooler and ice packs! There were snorkeling gears too. Although we brought our own, the thought of having them there was handy. We also used the unit's Road to Hana CD when we drove that way. It is a must to have it playing lest you miss out on the stops-to-see. Beautiful tiling on the bathroom that the hubby wanted something similar to it when we renovate our own. Ample basic toiletries were provided. We stayed there for 6 days without having to purchase more toilet paper so that's a plus! ;-) Also, the AC unit was sufficient for us. We are from the West Coast though, so we're used to cool breezes vs extreme cold. Location is very convenient to a lot of places. If you're looking for a good place to get a massage, Valley Isle Spa is nearby. They have a discounted Twilight Special perfect after a long day of hiking and activities. Then when you get back home, throw yourself in this unit's bed. Awesome way to cap the day! I really could go on and on, but then I'd just be babbling, wouldn't I? :-) Greg, thank you so much for welcoming us in your unit. It more than exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be recommending you to friends who need a place to stay in South Maui. Amen to your table quote!

  First off would like to say Greg is very easy to work with. This condo is reasonably priced; however if you are looking for luxury or extras this place is out dated. It took me a day or two to adjust to being dissapointed. The photos of this place tend to be misleading. The bed was very comfortable but there is no air conditioning in the bedroom. The wireless internet was a plus. The beach chairs were worn out and not usable, there were towels but no beach towels and the ice chest is styrofoam so sand tends to remain in bottom. Washer/dryer convenient but would not recommend washing white clothing as it tends to come out dingy or beige. Was close to beach and barbecues were conveniently located, downfall-knives were very dull and random. Dishes come with metallic trim so you cannot put them in the microwave. Everyone was very friendly and overall if you can get passed the fact that this condo is a bit outdated you won't be dissapointed. The condo is conveniently located to grocery store as well as restaurants. For kayaking would recommend Kelly's kayaks. Boss frogs in Dolphin Place the friendliest. Although, likely won't restay at this condo, looking forward to returning next year.

  This rental unit was a great deal for the price. It was directly across the street from the beach and Kihei has a lot of restaurants/activities to do. Additionally, it is not far from other desirable parts of the island (e.g. only 40 minutes from the northern part of the island). The bed was comfortable and the living room was a great place to relax after a day of activities. It was also super nice to have a laundry machine in the unit. One criticism I have of the unit, however, is that it advertises itself as having air conditioning. This is true, but the AC is a wall unit in the living room and it really doesn't filter into the bedroom. The living room stays nice and cold but the bedroom (where I particularly want AC for sleeping), was a bit warm (though there is a fan). Also, the bedroom has a large window- almost floor to ceiling- that faces the interior of the complex so you often hear people walking by. This was not terribly bothersome, but not ideal. Overall it was a very nice rental with just those two minor flaws. But, for the price, it was a great deal.

  My husband and I stayed in this condo and just loved it! I usually pick a condo based on the reviews and since there weren't many, I then look for pictures. The pictures sold me on choosing this condo. The condo surely gave me a "wow" factor and looks better in person then on the VRBO site. The decor is beautiful and very clean! Kudo's to the cleaning staff! The location is the best, right across the street from one of the best beaches (Charlie young beach) and steps away from the pool. All of the appliances including the washer and dryer worked perfectly. We spoke to a couple who had nothing but problems with their fridge in their condo. On a possitive note the maintenance staff had it fixed in a jiffy. The bed was comfortable and the breeze from the bedroom window was wonderful.The barbeque area is just steps away, it was nice to have a home cooked meal and everyone hanging out in the barbeque area was so friendly. I found a coffee shop located in a strip mall by the Perkins Restaurant that sells the best cinnimon buns! (5 min walk from the condo) .Greg was so helpful in answering all my questions and made our check in to the condo so easy he made our stay in Maui a wonderful experience.

  My husband, 2 year old son and I had the great fortune of renting this unit for our stay in October in Kihei. We spent a total of 23 days on the island and really enjoyed the 7 nights we spent in Kihei in this unit. It was a total fluke that we ended up in this unit. I had hesitation of staying in the front building but after another unit got booked out from under us, we scrambled and ended up staying in Greg's unit. It was really a blessing in surprise. Our unit was clean, nicely furnished and very comfortable. We were steps away from the pool and the grill and really enjoyed walking over to Charley Young beach to watch some really amazing sunsets. The kitchen had everything we could ask for. Thankful for the washer and dryer. The hall closet was FILLED with lots of fun stuff for the pool and beach and supplied us with all the fun beach toys we needed. The bathroom has been beautifully updated and I wanted to come home and do our bathroom here the same way. Now...I say this because it needs to be said...our friend rented a unit in the 3rd building (where we originally wanted to stay) and I was SHOCKED at what a dump his unit was. And he paid $200 more for the week than we did. We didn't like the 3rd building because it was so far away and didn't feel at all like our little unit in the first building. Everyone was very friendly and we just really felt like we landed exactly where we should have been. We enjoyed using our week in Kihei as a homebase for exporing other parts of the island. We loved the local beaches and are so thankful for Greg and his families unit being availble for us when we needed it. I still can't get over the fact that our friend spent more money for a terrible unit in the same complex and we lucked out with a FANTASTIC unit that fit right in our budget. Thank you Greg! Can't wait to come back.
