Double doors open into the massive Master Bedroom Suite which features a private deck, log King bed, TV, and a roomy bathroom with jetted tub and shower. Whether you want to grill steaks (gas) or smoke trout (gas) or cook anything in the well-equipped kitchen, you will be pleased with the environment and the equipment that is available for you to use. The kitchen opens on an enclosed porch with wood-burning fireplace, and sleeper sofa and the porch opens to an outside deck where the grills are located. Great Room opens to a screened porch which overlooks the mountains and folks, that is just the beginning. In the loft above the Great Room you will find a queen futon. A half bath and the laundry room are centrally located on the main floor as well. Now, lets go down stairs to a kid friendly Game Room with sleeper sofa large screen TV and two private bedrooms, one with a King Bed and the other a Queen Bed. The game room opens outside to more decks and a manicured lawn. Croquet is available to play out back as well as a closet of other games and a game table. Bring a basket ball and work off some of your fine cooking.
Enchanted Lodge is located just a short distance from Lake Rabun - beach for swimming - or rent a pontoon boat for the day or a half day exploring all the nooks and crannies of Lake Rabun. Plenty of room to bring your boat and park it up by the house. Bring your swim suit, fishing poles, cameras and don't forget your smile. This is a one-of-a-kind vacation retreat. We bought this home to have a weekend escape to the mountains. Living less than 100 miles away, we were able to enjoy the mountains every weekend. The view is amazing and its a totally relaxing experience. Lots of things to do if you wish to. We just love it.
