Condo was very nice and clean. Excellent pool and very close, easy walk to the beach. It is located in a spot away from large crowds and thus the beach was not cluttered. Security was great. Layout of the condo is ideal. My family loved it. I highly recommend it. Kitchen has plenty of utensils, good quality plates and glasses. Great decor. All appliances worked.

What a delightful experience we had in this condo. The unit is VERY well appointed with linens and towels that I wish I had in my own home! The decor of the unit is just enogh to give you that 'at home' feeling, yet just light enough to remind you that you are on vacation. This condo has everything you would need to have a great time: beach towels and chairs; fully stocked kitchen of real, hardy cookware and utensils; a spice cabinet that is sure to have 'the one you forgot'; high-end coffee maker, microwave, stove, and dishwasher; and large capasity washer & dryer. And yes, the dish soap, dishwasher soap, cloths washing soap and dryer sheets are provided. All you need to do is bring your own clothes! The view of the beach from the balcony off the livingroom and master bedroom is spectacular, and the second and third bedroom overlook the complex pool. Don't let the fact that this unit is on the forth floor hinder your decision to rent, the view of the beach is worth it, and besides, the elevator is FAST. The short distance on the boardwalk to the beach was a very easy trek, even with the 1 1/2 and 3 year olds in our party. And, because this condo is right next to Schitterbahn Water Park that also has a boardwalk to the beach, this section of the beach is far less crowded than what you see just a quarter mile down the coastline in either direction. Overall, one would be hard pressed to find a better privately owned condo, or better owners! We are already looking forward to next summer with them.

June 2011 stay

We loved the condo at Sea Vista! Well laid out floor plan, beautifully decorated, very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked! We cooked most of the time - lots of shrimp. . . and when we ate out, we loved the Sea Ranch and the PI Brewing Company. The only thing I did not realize was that we didn't have a full view of the ocean (the main windows face south) - but I got over that! I especially liked the fact that we had a relatively quiet beach - being on the southern end of the island. The owners were very helpful and friendly! Reservation process was very easy. We will be back and I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone.

my wife and i had a great time while at s p i . this unit is right on the beach, can't get any better than that, this unit has everything you need for your stay. water park in right next to the complex, security was always on the look out, private access coming and going into the complex. i would recommend this unit to anybody going to s p i . owners were real good about emailing info about this unit.

We arrived on late Monday afternoon right before Tropical Storm Hemine hit and we had an exciting first night! The condo was very nice and was everything that the listing stated and then some. The location is what I liked best. I think it is the last condo/hotel unit on the South side of the island. The beach in front was never crowded and we had it mostly to ourselves. The "closet" truly had everything needed for kids. We have 3 kids ranging in age from 9 to 15. They were either boogie boarding or building sand castles. The condo was spacious and all of the rooms were charming and well decorated. We had several questions during our stay which were all answered promptly by e-mail. The WiFi was a huge hit with everyone but especially the two teenagers who couldn't be without their laptop. Also, a TV with cable in every bedroom was an added bonus! We will definitely stay again!

My family really enjoyed this condo. The unit is very clean and plenty of room for the 6 of us who stayed there. Because of the location, it is very quiet and it has a very short walk to the beach. This turned out to be a great place for kids and adults. Since there isn't another property to the south, the beach seemed much less congested. Great communication from the owners made the stay easy and predictable.

Sea Vista Condos are conveniently located at the south most end of the island. This apartment has everything you need, a fully equiped kitchen, beach toys, movies, towels, and 3 bedrooms that will welcome a big family. Nice pool and short walking distance to the beach. I would definitely recommend it.

My husband and I spent a few nights at this condo with our 2 small children. We were so happy with the condo. It has been updated and cared for which shows in the decor and furnishings. The condo and complex were very clean and the complex was very quiet. The views from our balcony were gorgeous and we enjoyed sitting outside listening to the waves crashing. Lana and Nick were very accommodating and went above and beyond in helping us with our stay. They arranged for the complex to loan us a pack n play and a highchair during our stay. We will definetly be back in the future.

Just home from condo wish we could have stayed another week. The condo is wonderful everything we could possibly need right down to beach chairs. Those were great for evenings when kids still had energy but we were ready to relax. Top notch security they were very helpful and no question was too small. They even invited us to watch fireworks with them. Nick and Lana were ready to answer any question we had before the trip and contacted us before we were even home. We will definitely stay at this condo again. We made memories that will last a lifetime there. If you go be sure and take sandcastle building lessons...they all thought I was crazy, but they sing a different tune now. Tim and Myra Anderson

Hi Lana & Nick, We had a wonderful time at Sea Vista #403. It was everything we expected and much more. It is a great place to stay. It was super clean and very well appointed in every respect. There were a number of things that you had thoughtfully provided for the comfort and relaxation of your guests. I can't say that a single thing was missing. Your kitchen was exceptional. All of the pots and pans and utensils that anyone could possibly need were there for our use. My wife and daughter-in-law were so pleased about the kitchen set-up, appliances, coffee and filters, first-class dishes and the spice drawer with every spice and seasoning one could want for meal preparation. My wife in particular must have mentioned the spice drawer every day we were there and how it was so unusual to find such thoughtfulness and detailed effort to be sure your guests were taken care of from day one. There was also a strong sense of safety during our stay. The security there is top notch and we never had a problem finding a place to park close to the entrance to the building. The employees were on the ball and the housekeeping and other staff made sure the halls and pool area were clean at all times. The beach was very close at hand and on Friday night we walked toward the beach and a tad North and could see the fireworks from there. The Sea Vista beach was not at all crowded and the kids had a ton of fun building a big sand castle. What more could one ask for. I would recommend your condo to anyone who wants to have a quiet, pleasant, relaxing time. We hope to return next year. (We've been coming to SPI since 2003.) We spent the week of Thanksgiving in the condo. It was unbelievable. The unit had everything you could imagine. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner and had all the necessary cookware. Just got back from SPI Bike week. Couldn't ask for a nicer condo or location to stay. Staff is fantastic, the beach is clean, pool is absolutely great. Highly recommend this condo for any occasion. Just got back form a great weekend getaway at SPI. The condo was perfect from bedding accomodations to appliances and most of all location. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen had every appliance imaginable. We even baked a cake. The beach was right in front of us and not crowded at all. The pool was nice and also never crowded despite being Labor Day weekend. We had a slight glitch with the AC but it was taken care of really fast. Lana and Nick were great and I wouldn't hesitate to rent this or another of their condos in the future.

We were very pleased with this condo. It was well maintained and very well stocked. I found dealing with the owners, was a very pleasant experience. This is a great location next to the water park and right on the beach. My only complaint, if I have one is the 20 yds of sand I had to walk through to get to the beach. I am not in very good shape...once I got there, it was great.

Owner response:The 20 yds of sand the guest is referring to is actually the sand on the beach. The sand on the beach in South Padre is very soft, but should not be a problem for anyone other than those with extremely limited mobility. The building is about 10 feet from the edge of the sand, right on the beach. You will not find a condo building closer to the ocean than ours, and of course all of them will require you to walk through sand on the beach to get to the water.

This was a lovely condo and the entire facility was very well maintained. We had five guests in the condo and only one very, very small closet was available to us. I would strongly suggest that the owners provide a closet in each room.

Owner response:The closets that were supposed to be available for our guests were locked by mistake. We have changed the locks to the kind that can't be locked so this issue will not come up again.
