To enjoy the solitude of this retreat, a private deck offers peaceful escape off the bedroom. Inside, choose a book from the collection available for your pleasure, or enjoy a movie from the cottage selection. Relax and soak up the peace and quite in a traditional claw foot tub, or enjoy a walk-in shower if you prefer.
The kitchen is fully stocked for your convenience, just download and fill out the grocery list provided. Your choices will be purchased for you at cost, plus a nominal delivery fee, and placed in the kitchen before you arrive. You’ll find a unique Texas fire pit on the outdoor slate patio for your use.
Local dining, shopping, or night on the town is waiting for you just 19 miles to the north, in Spokane, WA. 19 miles southeast takes you into Northern Idaho, where Schweitzer Ski Resort and Coeur D’Alene offer year round activities. If fishing is your pleasure, Newman Lake is a close half-mile from the cottage. A guide can be arranged to take you to the best fishing spots. If you select the available 4-wheel drive Jeep, the navigation feature is pre-programmed with all the local sites for easy traveling.

The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
We have a four-wheel drive Jeep that can be rented with the cabin with local sites programmed into the navigation system. We have a local manager who can meet you at the airport and provide your groceries if you so desire. You can totally unwind in complete quiet but yet have all the amenities of home such as satellite television and high speed wireless Internet so you can communicate with the outside world.

This vacation cabin cottage is truly amazing! It is even better than we ever expected a vacation rental to be. Close enough to town, the drive to this cabin is a secluded country setting surrounded by beautiful lake Newman, nature landscapes and wildlife galore such as deer, owl, coyote and moose tracks! As we pulled up the driveway, the cabin was tucked perfectly between many gorgeous pines, and located pleasantly at the edge of the hillside. When we walked in, we immediately felt a sense of comfort as the decor reveals a warm and inviting atmosphere. The host did an excellent job at adding to our vacation by supplying a BBQ, fire pit, claw foot tub w/ bubble bath, cable TV/internet, a bottle of wine on the house, coffee, wow you name it, it was there. We couldn't have asked for more. It was a very "story book" setting here. Thanks Linda! We can't wait to come back!!!

what a great place to stay. close enough to spokane and northern idaho but miles away in atmosphere.if you enjoy peace and quiet and nature this is the place for you.our standard poodle bentley loved the fenced in area.everything was set up so making it like home was a five minute job,loved it. thanks again.

What a wonderful cabin! Spotless, comfortable and convenient! The kitchen has everything we needed to make a quick meal. Great little deck for a cup of coffee and a quiet read. Really romantic footed bathtub. We loved sitting out on the front patio in the evening hearing the wild turkey hens and their chicks gobble-gobbling down along the road. We're definitely down for a repeat visit!
