Newly constructed single family residence built Sept 2008. This 4 bedroom, 4 bath custome home with detached studio has all the amenities you'll need. Located in the heart of Hermosa Beach, one block west of Pier Ave, and 5 blocks from the beach. This stunning home lacks nothing. It features a gourmet kitchen with 10' island, stainless steel appliances and a great room with gas fireplace, 3 flat screen HD TV's with DVR's, piano, wireless high speed fiberoptic connection with Wifi, steam dual shower in the Master Bath, outside hot/cold shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach, private outside lounge w/firetable and BBQ, beautiful outside garden and patio for enjoying your morning coffee in the sun, tennis courts just out back. A beautiful greenbelt awaits you for your walking/running enjoyment just steps away. This is a perfect family home. There are 2 enclosed yards for your children to play, one in the back and one in the front. This is a rare amenity for the beach! We have scooters and toys for your young ones, and a wii in the studio for the older child/adult. There is a standard basketball hoop in the back as well. Once you park in the driveway, you'll never need your car again! Just put your walking shoes on and off you'll go to find shopping, beach, restaurants and entertainment (Jay Leno plays every Sunday at the Hermosa Comedy Club). All are just a few short blocks away. Every Friday there is a Farmers Market down the street for fresh flowers and produce. You can also grab a quick bite to eat! The back yard has a wonderful vegetable garden in the summer and the front yard has fresh strawberries and is home to beautiful hummingbirds year round.
The Master Bedroom has a king size bed with memory foam topper, cathedral ceilings, and a flat screen tv/dvd. Master Bath has Travertine walk-in dual shower with steam unit and bench seat. Double sinks set under beautiful fossiled limestone.
The tangerine bedroom has a queen size bed also with a memory foam topper. This bedroom sleeps 2. It also has an ensuite bathroom with full tub and shower.
The aqua marine bedroom has a trundle bed that sleeps 2 with lots of natural light.
The studio is great for someone who wants privacy, ie: nanny, mother-in-laws quarters. It offers a queen sized bed, full bath and a kitchenette.
The home also includes Whirlpool Duet front loading steam washer/dryer in separate laundry room.

This home couldn't have been more fabulous! My family of 4, plus my in-laws, enjoyed our stay here immensely because it felt just like home (only nicer!) Everything was top of the line from the stove to the showers, yet it was also completely comfortable. No one in my family was ready to go home after leaving this property :) It was a fantastic value for the price. I would highly recommend this property to anyone considering a vacation in Hermosa Beach.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this beautiful home last week for our family summer vacation. We could not have picked a better rental for our multi-generational family. The property is impecccably clean, luxurious and the design is amazingly cozy and welcoming. The attention to detail is apparent in every aspect of the home: beautiful seaside accents, top notch appliances, steam shower, luxurious linens, super comfortable furnishing, the flower garden and cozy front porch....I do not know where to stop! We appreciated the quiet, yet super convenient location just a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. I would highly recommend this property to any family seeking a fun, relaxing and luxurious beach vacation!!! I have rented properties through VRBO all over the world, and this one tops them all. What a wonderful home. Three generations found our own areas of enjoyment beyond the white picket fence. Tamra was there to welcome us and after that, we enjoyed total privacy as we moved into this incredible home. The beach and pier shops were in easy walking distance. Don't miss Barnaby's fried dill pickles and the milk shakes at Board Walk Burgers. Tamra's decorating was evident throughout and the toys and games were wonderful for our grandchildren. Friday offers a Farmer's Market and tennis courts are right past the back wall. Enjoy the outside hot shower, if you dare! Lovely.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, tourists without a car.

This home was beyond all expectations. It was located in walking distance to the pier and the ocean. We were a family of 7 and were very comfortable in the home - lots of room and great furnishings. There were so many extras - wifi, cable, master bathroom shower that was incredible, flat screen TV, Bar-B-Q and outside dining table, tennis courts behind the house, kitchen that was deluxe. It is hard to get the whole family together and it was the most enjoyable trip - one of a lifetime. We would recommend this home to anyone wanting a great location to take the family.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Have rented many VRBO homes around the U.S. and can tell you that you will not find a nicer appointed home than this one...best ever for us. Perfect central location to see S. Calif attractions and its nice to be able to walk to the beach each morning for a cup of coffee and an hour on the sand before a busy day. Lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance. Tamra has everything you need and more stocked in her home. Great laundry, guest room, kitchen, master bedroom and the bathrooms were immaculate. Many toys and games for small children. Lots of marble and limestone..everything top of the line. The Blairs spared no expense whtn they renovated this home a few years ago. You will love it. This was by far the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at. The house is luxurious yet very homey and comfortable. The rooms are large, and having 3 bathrooms made it very easy for everyone to get ready quickly. Tamra and Rob were gracious and very helpful. The location can't be beat. Just blocks from any shopping, restaurants and the beach. Having the wagon to pull my granddaughter to the beach was exactly what we needed. Thank you Tamra and Rob and the girls for making our stay so pleasurable and memorable.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

My family and I stayed in this wonderful home. You can't go wrong. The home has a warm wonderful family feel, is beautifully appointed and an amazing place for gathering with your family. The kitchen family room was wonderful for our family and the kids were happy playing in the guest house with the WII. The outdoor dining area, BBQ and basketball hoop was a hit too. Not only is the house a wonderful place to stay, it was well located to the beach, Pier Ave, grocery stores, McDonald's, Pinkberry and most important to me...a drive-thru Starbucks! I would greatly recommend this home to others and we will absolutely stay here again should the need arise. Don't miss out on this well priced home with a super luxury feel. Tamra, the owner, is easy to work with and a great hostess...you'll envy her style and home, will wish you lived there and won't want to leave!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

About the owner: We have enjoyed living at the beach our entire lives in one house or another. This house is where we sill stay as it fits all of our needs. We go for bike rides on the strand on the weekends or walk to the beach and meet friends. We can play almost any sport within less than a block. We have a front, side and back yard with private outside seating for dinner under the heat lamp on those cool summer nights! We can walk to all the restaurants downtown Hermosa at the Plaza or on Upper Pier Ave. The market and drug store are also within walking distance (2 blocks). Yet if we want to get out of town, we are within an hour of hiking, LA Zoo, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Magic Mountain, Hollywood, Universal Studios or just about anywhere you'd want to go...This is a very desirable place to stay!
