Located in the second row of condos from the beach. You can't be closer to the beach, unless you rent ocean front. This 2nd floor near ocean villa is in an excellent location with less than a minute walk to pool and beach. Wireless High-speed Internet is available throughout entire villa. The living room is furnished with a red sofa, two chairs, rattan furniture, flat screen HDTV, DVD player and VCR. There are two sliding doors leading to the balconies facing southeast toward trees with the ocean hidden behind them. The dining room seats six people. The fully equipped kitchen has a granite countertop with new appliances and white cabinets. The 3rd bathroom with shower is located off the main hallway with a stackable washer and dryer. The master bedroom has island plantation style furniture with wicker insets, king size bed with a traditional red damask comforter set, large dresser, flat screen HDTV, DVD and a slider leading to a balcony. The private bath has a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom also has island plantation style furniture with wicker insets, two double beds with traditional soft blue comforter sets, large dresser, flat screen HDTV, DVD, VCR and slider leading to balcony. This room also has a private bath with a tub/shower combination. This villa is approximately 1260 square feet, painted a soft straw yellow, with drapes and pineapple finial rods. The Moorings in Palmetto Dunes Resort is a gated community located along a private beach for Palmetto Dunes only, near the middle of the island. Within a short walking distance you will have access to the…pool, beach, General Store, bike rentals, canoe and kayak rentals. On Palmetto Dunes Resort, near our villa you will also find...children's camps, 11 miles of saltwater lagoon/creek network for canoe or kayak, many walking/bike paths, 3 incredible golf courses (George Fazio, Arthur Hills and Robert Trent Jones), 27 tennis courts, the Marriot Resort and Spa (bar and restaurants), Dune House (carryout lunch items on the beach and restrooms) and the Dunes Buggy shuttle van will take you across 278 to Shelter Cove Marina so you don’t have to worry about parking. There is also a walking/ bike tunnel from the resort traveling under 278 to Shelter Cove Marina. Shops,restaurants and live entertainment can be found there along with Fireworks shown on Tuesdays, June 2nd thru August 18th and July 4th at Shelter Cove.
Hilton Head Island has a beautiful wide beach over 12 miles long. Sand near ocean is firm enough to ride bikes on or you can ride on over 26 miles of designated bike/walking paths winding in and out of trees near the roads throughout the island. Many wildlife preserves have been set up throughout the island, beautiful landscape, palm trees and only small wooden signs used by businesses, which gives it a very green and small island feel. Other island amenities are…over 200 restaurants and bars (many have live entertainment), 2 Tanger outlet centers, tons of shops with everything you can imagine from souvenirs, clothing, to Sam’s Club or Target, movie theater, 30 golf courses, kayak and canoe tours, several marinas with boat rental, dolphin and sightseeing cruses, fishing charters, jet ski rental and parasailing. If you need more to do…take a day trip to Savannah (about 45 min.), Beaufort (about 45 min.) or Charlestown (about 2 hours) .

We stayed at this condo the first week of June 2011. My wife, myself, my daughter (15) and her best friend spent our vacation here. Our expectations were high because this is Palmetto Dunes in Hilton Head. It exceeded every expectation we had! This is a very nice, clean property with even the smallest details being top notch. The furniture was very nice and comfortable, the beds were perfect with high quality linens. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and have only the best memories of this place. Very quick walk to the beach, we never had to drive, park and walk like most folks in Palmetto Dunes. Owners are great and easy to deal with. This place is perfect, the teenagers loved having their own room and we enjoyed having our privacy. 3 bathrooms were a big plus. What a great place!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

You couldn't ask for a better location on Hilton Head Island without being ocean front. Awesome mid-island location makes everything very accessible. Less than 60 second walk to the beach. Condo is very well appointed with upgraded furnishings and all of the necessities. I've paid over twice this amount for far less accommodations on the Florida Gulf coast in the past. A steal for your money!!! We'll be back . . .
